Mitchell agreed to a contract Wednesday with Santeros de Aguada of the Puerto Rican Baloncesto Superior Nacional, Nicola Lupo of Sportando reports.

Mitchell has most recently played in the NBA G League for the Sioux Falls Skyforce, with whom he averaged 18.6 points (on 42.1 percent shooting from the field), 5.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.7 steals in 29.4 minutes per contest. His deal with Santeros de Aguada is likely a short-term pact that would allow him to return to the G League next fall, if desired.

Mitchell concluded the 2017-18 season by averaging 18.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.8 assists over 44 games played with Sioux Falls.

EDGE Analysis

The 28-year-old guard finished with a superb stat line although his points, rebounds and assists were down from his previous stints in the G League during the 2012-13 and 2013-14 campaigns.

Mitchell missed Tuesday's 121-116 loss to Iowa due to personal reasons.

Mitchell poured in 21 points for the Skyforce's last game on Mar. 17 and it's unknown why he did not play Tuesday. The 28-year-old from Alabama is averaging a superb 19 points and six rebounds and figures to be a game-time decision for Sioux Falls' next game Friday.

Mitchell had 28 points (11-22 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals during Wednesday's blowout 140-112 loss at the Hustle.

EDGE Analysis

This was Mitchell's best scoring output since pouring in 31 points back on Jan. 19. Since his roaring start to the season, the former Alabama guard has quiet down a bit and he is struggling mightily from three-point range, shooting a mere 19.1 percent over his last 10 games. The 28-year-old is still adding 19.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per contest for the Skyforce this season.

Mitchell was waived by the Warriors on Monday, Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

EDGE Analysis

A former second-round pick of the Pistons, Mitchell spent 2014-15 out of the NBA and looks like he could struggle to make it back to the league this season.

Mitchell was waived by the Suns, WHDH NBC Boston reports. Mitchell was traded to the Suns in December but ultimately never spent any time on the court while with the franchise. He will likely continue his playing career abroad in the hope that he'll be needed in the NBA down the road.

Mitchell was traded from the Pistons to the Suns on Wednesday, ESPN reports. Mitchell was moved to Phoenix in exchange for Anthony Tolliver. He hasn't seen any action in the NBA this season, but the second-year player is just 22-years-old and could be a development project for the Suns. Mitchell figures to see very little time with the Suns this season.

Mitchell was recalled from the D-League on Sunday. In four appearances for the Grand Rapids Drive this season, Mitchell is averaging 9.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks while shooting 52 percent from the floor. He's yet to appear in a game for the Pistons this season.

Mitchell was reassigned to Grand Rapids of the D-League on Friday, David Mayo of MLive Media Group reports. Mitchell continues to spend time in Grand Rapids and Detroit this season. It seems reasonable to assume that this will continue to happen as the season progresses with Detroit's frontcourt rotation already established.

Mitchell has been recalled from the Pistons D-League affiliate Sunday. Mitchell has yet to play in an NBA game this year, so expect him to continue to move between the two teams this year to get playing time.
