Fall (concussion) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
Fall suffered a concussion during Saturday's practice, so it's unsurprising to see he won't be available for Wednesday's opener. He could have a shot to take the court Friday against Toronto.

Fall (concussion) participated in most of Tuesday's practice but was held out of all live drills, Clevis Murray of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's good news that the rookie was able to make it through most of practice, though it doesn't appear as though he's passed through concussion protocol just yet. At this point, his chances of suiting up for Wednesday's regular-season opener don't look good.

Fall (head) is in concussion protocol, Abby Chin of NBC Sports Boston reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fall was hit in the head during Saturday's practice and, as a result, has reportedly entered concussion protocol. It's still remains unclear whether or not the rookie will be available for the season opener Wednesday against the 76ers. If Fall did indeed suffer a concussion though, he'll more than likely have to sit out Wednesday.

Fall sat out Saturday's practice after being hit in the head, Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fall's injury and his timetable for return are largely unclear. Depending on the severity of the bump, there's a chance that the rookie center may have to enter concussion protocol which would likely extend his recovery timetable. Look for an update clarifying Fall's status to come ahead of Wednesday's season opener against Philadelphia.

Fall had four points (2-2 FG, 0-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists, and two steals in seven minutes during Sunday's 118-72 preseason victory over the Cavaliers.
EDGE Analysis
Fall, who was upgraded to a two-way contract, played seven minutes of garbage time in Sunday's blowout victory. The crowd was into it, cheering everytime he touched the ball. Fall is unlikely to play any meaningful minutes but is certainly already a crowd favorite. There is no need to consider him outside of the deepest formats.

The Celtics converted Fall's contract to a two-way deal Sunday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fall had been attending the Celtics' training camp on an Exhibit 10 deal, but the organization's decision to convert him to one of its two two-way contracts should grant the 7-foot-6 center a little more security. Per the terms of the agreement, Fall is eligible to spend a maximum of 45 days in the NBA in 2019-20, so he'll likely see the bulk of his action with the G League's Maine Red Claws as a rookie.

Fall scored five points and had two blocks in eight minutes Sunday against the Hornets.
EDGE Analysis
Fall played only a small role off the bench in the second half, but the bigger news is that he's officially moved past the minor knee sprain that limited him toward the end of last month. The Celtics brought in the former UCF standout as an undrafted free agent, and he's likely to use 2019-20 as a developmental year.

Coach Brad Stevens said he anticipates that Fall (knee) will be medically cleared by Tuesday, Chris Forsberg of NBC Sports Boston reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fall sustained a minor knee sprain earlier in September but all indications are that he'll be ready to go when the Celtics open camp on Oct. 1. Stevens noted that the Celtics will likely keep Fall limited for the next week, however. "I don't know if we'll have him do anything, per se, until he gets on the court next week against live competition," Stevens said.

Fall suffered a minor knee sprain during workouts and is expected to be out for a week, Jared Weiss of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The injury occurred while Fall collided with another player on a block attempt. He should be healthy in time for training camp.

Fall officially signed a contract with the Celtics on Thursday, Taylor C. Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
After going undrafted out of Central Florida in June, Fall and the Celtics began negotiating a deal, but his contract wasn't finalized until he finished up summer-league play. The exact terms of Fall's deal aren't known, but it's believed the 7-foot-6 center inked an Exhibit 10 deal. He'll have the opportunity to compete for a roster spot in training camp, but it's more likely Fall opens his first professional campaign with the G League's Maine Red Claws.
