Steve Blake is expected to be available to play in Thursday's game against the Rockets. Since the Lakers/Warriors deal was completed on Wednesday, the paperwork has gone through. Look for Blake to get his beak wet with a few minutes off the bench in a combo guard role. He's not a fantasy option while playing behind Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

Steve Blake still seemed bothered by his elbow injury against the Thunder on Thursday with 13 points, six boards, two assists, two steals and three 3-pointers on 4-of-10 from the field in 38 minutes. His shot doesn't look as smooth as it used to and still pushing the ball due to his sore elbow, but he looked a little better tonight. Blake has multiple steals in all of his games since returning from injury with averages of 7.6 points, 5.6 boards, 8.2 dimes and 1.8 triples on just 28.6 percent from the field. The All-Star break should help him and could salvage his woeful 37.7 percent field goal shooting on the season.

Steve Blake said he expects to play on Thursday night against the Thunder. He said he is going to have to play with pain in his elbow. Blake's shot was a little funky looking on Tuesday night and his elbow clearly affected his shooting, especially from long range. The Lakers currently have just one healthy point guard on their roster, Kendall Marshall, and would really need to get some minutes out of Blake. Both he and Marshall should be owned in all leagues.

Steve Blake is still dealing with a sore elbow and hit just 2-of-11 shots and a 3-pointer for five points, five rebounds, eight assists and two steals in Tuesday's loss. This was the Lakers' sixth straight loss at home, which is nearly unheard of, while Blake is finding life tougher than it was against the Sixers and Cavaliers, when he put up a couple monster lines. He's cooled off, but is still worth owning, while his elbow injury is still a factor. It still bothers him when he shoots and could still cause him to miss time at some point. And with Steve Nash leaving this one early with his lingering leg injury, Kendall Marshall (7 points, 7 assists, 3 steals) is still a guy you'll want to hang onto. Consider Blake a little questionable for Thursday against the Thunder.

Steve Blake shot 3-of-12 from the field for eight points against the Bulls, adding four boards, four assists, three steals and two 3-pointers in 40 minutes. It's the worst line in a very long time with five turnovers and some sub-par shooting. Blake has made just 32.3 percent of his shots since his return from an injury to his shooting elbow, so that could be part of the problem. However, his averages of 5.8 boards, 8.3 assists, 2.8 steals and 2.0 triples in his last three make him a must-own player.

Steve Blake played through a minor thigh injury and scored 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting (including four threes) with four rebounds, eight assists, two steals and one block in 36 minutes on Friday against the Sixers. Blake is arguably Mike D'Antoni's favorite player right now and he's not leaving the lineup as long as he can walk. He will be a must-start player at his current level of health until Kobe Bryant returns, and even then it's possible that he hangs around in fantasy lineups.

Steve Blake (thigh) is likely to play against the Sixers on Friday, according to coach Mike D'Antoni. The Lakers will be starting Steve Nash, Blake, Wes Johnson, Ryan Kelly and Robert Sacre against a very soft Philly interior defense. Blake is coming off a triple-double on Wednesday and should see a nice allotment of minutes at both guard spots. As of right now, the Lakers have eight players available to play, assuming Blake is ready.

Steve Blake (thigh) is a game-time decision for Friday's matchup at Philadelphia. Blake must have sustained his thigh bruise while posting a triple-double against the Cavs Wednesday. It doesn't sound too serious, but his status ahead of the 7pm ET tip is worth watching closely. With Jordan Farmar, Jodie Meeks and Nick Young all injured, Blake would play a ton of minutes and have a huge usage rate against the Sixers' atrocious defense if he suits up. We should know his status by 6pm ET.
