Williams has been suspended for two games for his role in a fight during Tuesday's game against the Hustle, Adam Johnson of 2 Ways and 10 Days reports.

Williams spent just two days with the Timberwolves after being signed late last week. The 31-year-old hasn't taken part in a regular-season game since 2014-15, but appears to be making a comeback attempt, and he may be a player that gets looked at during the season for added depth in the frontcourt if injuries were to occur. Either way, he's not a fantasy relevant player.

Williams was waived by the Bucks on Tuesday, Eric Pincus of Basketball Insiders reports. Milwaukee acquired Williams as part of the Ersan Ilyasova trade earlier this month. It was purely a cap-clearing move by the Bucks, and the intent all along was to waive Williams. The veteran will become a free agent and seek a new team after spending time with the Nets, Lakers, Pistons and Heat since 2012.

Williams was traded from the Pistons to the Bucks on Thursday in three-player trade that also saw Caron Butler go to the Bucks and Ersan Ilyasova get moved to the Pistons, Yahoo Sports! reports. Williams will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and Caron Butler has one more year on his contract at $4.5 million, but there has been some speculation that Butler might retire this offseason. This trade was likely just a salary dump for the Bucks, and there's a chance Butler and Williams will never play for Milwaukee next season.

Williams appeared in 19 contests for the Pistons, averaging 2.6 points and 1.4 rebounds in 8.6 minutes per game. Williams began the season with the Heat before being dealt to New Orleans at the trade deadline. He was waived by the Pelicans a few days later and Detroit claimed the Memphis product off waivers. Williams held down a deep bench role, seeing double-digit minutes in just six games. He struggled with his new team, particularly from beyond the arc. A career 34 percent three-point shooter, Williams, who was shooting 39.5 percent during his 44 games with Miami, converted at a horrendous 15.4 percent clip (4-of-26) as a member of the Pistons. Williams is under contract for a very palatable $1.4 million next season, and at this point it's unclear whether he'll see an increased role.

Williams returned from a two-game absence Tuesday and put up two points (1-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist, and one block in 13 minutes off the bench against the Raptors. Williams has a limited role off the Pistons' bench, and he's been shockingly ineffective lately, muting his value in most standard leagues. Through 10 games with the Pistons, Williams has shot 32 percent from the field, six percent (not a typo) from beyond the arc, and 100 percent from the free-throw line.

Williams (illness) will return to the court Tuesday against the Raptors, Keith Langlois of Pistons.com reports. Williams missed the previous two games with an illness but is apparently feeling better after reportedly losing seven pounds while battling the ailment. Before his absence he was averaging just eight minutes on the court over his last four games so he's not expected to see much playing time moving forward.
