Arcidiacono has agreed to re-sign with the Bulls on a one-year, partially-guaranteed contract, Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Undrafted in 2016 after four years at Villanova, Arcidiacono has spent most of his professional time in the G-League. Last season, he started in all 37 of his appearances for Chicago's affiliate, the Windy City Bulls, averaging 13.9 points, 8.5 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.7 steals while shooting a scorching-hot 44.6 percent from deep. This year, the 2016 NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player will look to improve on his resume after failing to make a significant impact during his first taste of NBA action in 2017-18. He played 304 total minutes for Chicago, totaling 48 points, 35 assists, 25 rebounds and 13 steals while shooting just 29.0 percent from distance on 31 attempts. That said, there isn't much room in the Bulls' rotation for Arcidiacono, as the team is relatively committed to Kris Dunn and Cameron Payne.

Arcidiacono supplied nine points (3-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt), three assists, two rebounds and two steals across 34 minutes during the Bulls' 72-66 loss to the Pistons in a Las Vegas Summer League contest Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The third-year guard has seen ample opportunity in Las Vegas, averaging 31.0 minutes across five games. However, Arcidiacono's numbers have often been modest, leading to averages of 7.2 points (on 39.0 percent shooting), 4.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.2 steals. He made much more of a splash during G-League play last season, when he averaged 13.8 points (on 45.7 percent shooting, including 45.1 percent from three-point range), 8.6 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.8 steals across 39.5 minutes over 37 games. Arcidiacono was extended a qualifying offer by the Bulls earlier this offseason, so the team presumably will look to continue extending him solid playing time in preseason in order to further his development.

Arcidiacono was extended a qualifying offer by the Bulls, making him a restricted free agent, Vincent Goodwill of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Arcidiacono played on a two-way contract for the Bulls last season, spending the bulk of the year with the team's G-League affiliate. The Bulls are now able to match any offer he receives once free agency opens and they should be able to bring Arcidiacono back for cheap, as long as they don't decide to withdraw the qualifying offer themselves.

Arcidiacono recorded 2.0 points, 1.5 assists and 1.0 rebounds across 24 games played with Chicago during 2017-18.
EDGE Analysis
Besides his Apr. 9 game in which he scored nine points and added four assists, Arcidiacono wasn't much of a factor all year long during his first NBA season. The 23-year-old did though tear up the G League which may lead him in landing a NBA contract eventually. Arcidiacono is free to sign with any team once the NBA season officially concludes, although it won't be surprising if he signs with a G League squad.

Arcidiacono recorded eight points (2-13 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 15 assists and six rebounds during Tuesday's 104-93 loss to visiting Grand Rapids.
EDGE Analysis
Arcidiacono was able to outweigh his worst shooting performance of the year with a high tally of 15 assists Tuesday. The 23-year-old has been a reliable offensive contributor to Windy City all season long still, as he is averaging 13.8 points and 8.6 assists per game while registering eight double-doubles.

Arcidiacono tallied 31 points (11-25 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 4-6 FT), eight assists, four steals and three rebounds during Friday's 103-97 loss to Westchester.
EDGE Analysis
Arcidiacono's 31 points were a new season high, as he attempted 10 more shots Friday than any other game this year. The former Villanova star is averaging 30 points over his last two games, an indicator that he may be trying to increase his scoring production a little more. So far, the 23-year-old guard is contributing 13.9 points and 8.4 assists for Windy City.

Arcidiacono recorded 29 points (8-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 10-10 FT), 12 assists and seven rebounds during Sunday's narrow 104-100 win over Lakeland.
EDGE Analysis
Arcidiacono is known for his ability to share the ball, as he is currently the G League's third leading player in assists, but he was able to finish Sunday's win with a game-high 29 points while also registering his second straight double-double with 12 assists. The 23-year-old guard from Villanova is averaging 13.4 points and 8.4 assists per game with Windy City this season, making him a daily double-double candidate.

Arcidiacono registered 14 points (5-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 assists, five rebounds and four steals during Friday's 105-99 win at Greensboro.
EDGE Analysis
After a six game absence from 10-plus assists, Arcidiacono finally got back on track and managed 13 assists on his way to his seventh double-double this season. The former National Champion with Villanova is the G League's third leading player in assists at 8.3 per game and, in addition, the 23-year-old adds a decent 12.9 points.

Arcidiacono produced 15 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 11 rebounds and 11 assists during Wednesday's 118-112 win over Delaware.
EDGE Analysis
This was the second year guard's first career triple-double in the G-League, as well as a new career high in rebounds. Arcidiacono has shown he is a pass-first guard with 8.4 assists per contest, but still finds ways to score at all cylinders. The former NCAA champion has greatly improved from last season, as all major statistical categories have increased dramatically.

Arcidiacono was assigned to the G League's Windy City Bulls and is playing for the club Wednesday against the Delaware 87ers.
EDGE Analysis
The former Villanova standout had appeared in each of the NBA team's last 12 games, but averaged only 9.6 minutes per game. With Cameron Payne (foot) on track to rejoin the Bulls when the team opens its post-All-Star-break schedule Thursday against the 76ers, there's a good possibility that Arcidiacono sticks with Windy City for a large chunk of the second half in order to pick up meaningful playing time.
