Anderson was waived by the Rockets on Monday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran forward, who was a healthy scratch in each of the past seven games, will be seeking a new home. Anderson's struggled with his shot over the past two seasons and is hitting fewer than 30 percent of his three pointers for the second straight season and is averaging just 2.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in 7.0 minutes per game this year. Anderson could appeal to teams in need of three-point shooting and veteran leadership, though his recent performance hasn't inspired much confidence.

Anderson ended with three points and one rebound in four minutes during Wednesday's 159-158 victory over the Wizards.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson saw his first action of the season, albeit just four minutes during Wednesday's high-scoring victory over Washington. Anderson is unlikely to be an every night part of the rotation for the Rockets and can be left on all waiver wires.

Anderson has agreed to a partially-guaranteed contract with the Rockets, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson played 25 contests last season between the Heat and the Suns, seeing just 12.9 minutes per game. He played for the Rockets during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons, averaging 11.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.4 threes across 27.8 minutes. It's not immediately clear what sort of guarantees are on Anderson's contract, but it doesn't seem likely that he'll see a significant role with Houston, assuming he's on the final roster.

Anderson was waived by the Heat on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson appeared in just 10 games with the Heat after being dealt to Miami last season. The organization will save some money by waiving Anderson, as he reduced his guarantee for 2019-20 from $21 million to $15.6 million last August.

Anderson (personal) played one minute Tuesday in the Heat's 122-99 win over the 76ers, accruing no statistics during his time on the floor.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson had missed the Heat's previous two games to tend to a personal matter but rejoined the team for its penultimate game of the regular season. As per usual, he remained outside of coach Erik Spoelstra's rotation and only saw action in garbage time. With the Heat eliminated from the postseason race, Anderson could fall into more minutes Wednesday against the Nets, but probably not enough to make him interesting for DFS or streaming purposes.

Anderson, due to personal reasons, will be out over the Heat's next two games.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson hasn't been a regular part of the rotation, so his absence shouldn't affect things much. It's possible he's played his last game of the season already.

Anderson recorded one assist and one steal in five minutes during Friday's 116-87 loss to the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
This was Anderson's first time on the court in five games and came simply as a result of garbage time. Anderson is merely a bench warmer for the Heat and does not figure as a part of their future. He can be ignored everywhere.

Anderson (coach's decision) failed to see the court Friday in the Heat's 102-96 loss to the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
The Suns shipped Anderson to the Heat on Wednesday in what amounted to a salary dump, as the power forward hadn't seen any game action in Phoenix since Dec. 4. For a Heat squad that fancies itself as playoff contenders, Anderson should have a better path to playing, but he's still not a lock to be included in the rotation over Kelly Olynyk or James Johnson. After Anderson's extensive time off, the team will presumably want to see more from him in practices before coach Erik Spoelstra summons him from the bench in close games.

Anderson has been traded to the Heat in exchange for Tyler Johnson, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
In what is essentially a bad contract swap, the Heat will take on Ryan Anderson, who is set to make $15.6 million next season. Anderson has appeared in just 15 games this season after starting 50 games for the Rockets last season, seeing his role reduced to DNP-CDs. It seems unlikely the change of scenery will vault Anderson, who hasn't seen action since Dec. 4, into fantasy relevance.

Anderson (coach's decision) didn't see the floor Thursday in the Suns' 111-109 loss to the Raptors.
EDGE Analysis
It's hardly shocking that Anderson was excluded from the rotation in a close contest, as that's been standard since early November. Anderson has seen action in only four of the Suns' past 35 games and will need a trade to recoup any kind of fantasy value. With a season and a half still remaining on Anderson's four-year, $80 million contract, he probably won't have a robust market as the Feb. 7 trade deadline approaches.
