As has been rumored for the past few weeks, the 24-year-old White, who was selected 16th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft, will suit up for the Clippers' summer league squad in Orlando. Due in large part to off-the-court issues, he's only played nine minutes in the NBA thus far, despite possessing a unique combination of skills for a player his size. Now 24, he's running out of chances to make it in the NBA.

White is nearing an agreement to play for the Clippers' summer league team, RealGM reports. The embattled former lottery pick is apparently looking to return to the NBA, and an invite to the Las Vegas Summer League would be a step in the right direction. White has reportedly drawn interest from a number of organizations, including the Bulls, Spurs and Pelicans, in addition to the Clippers. While the 24-year-old's talents are not in question, he's dealt with several off-the-court issues, which have been the primary impetus to his success at the NBA level.

White is drawing interest from teams and has an offer to play for the Clippers summer league team, Darren Wolfson of 1500 ESPN reports. The former lottery pick has appeared in only three career NBA games while battling a well-publicized anxiety issue. He's still just 24 years old, however, and is an intriguing combination of size and playmaking ability when focused and healthy. Any team willing to take a chance on White will have to navigate through his character issues, but if the Iowa State product proves willing to cooperate, he could be a cheap steal for a team in need of wing depth.

The Kings will not re-sign Royce White for the rest of the regular season. They will max out their 15-man roster by inking Jared Cunningham on Monday, leaving White to look elsewhere for temporary employment. Kings writer Jason Jones reports that the team's coaches and management were impressed by White, but felt that it was imperative to sign a guard.

Royce White's second 10-day contract with the Kings expired on Wednesday. The Kings will now have to decide whether to sign White to a contract for the rest of the season or allow him to become a free agent. We'll update this situation once the Kings make a decision, but White has only played nine total minutes over three games with the Kings and can be safely left on fantasy waiver wires.

Royce White made his NBA debut for the Kings on Friday in a one-minute appearance. White's conditioning is an issue and it's unrealistic to expect him to step into the NBA and be productive right off the bat. Because he tends to pass rather than shoot he is intriguing fit at power forward with liabilities Reggie Evans and Quincy Acy getting regular minutes, but playing next to two catch-and-hold guys in DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay his talents get somewhat negated by playing styles. Look for him to get a chance to show his stuff one way or another.

White finished his last game with the Bighorns with 14 points, one rebound, three assists, and three steals in 26 minutes. He will now travel to Sacramento as the Kings finish their seven-game road trip that ends Sunday. White's 10-day contract with the Kings coincidentally ends this weekend, so his future with the team is currently up in the air. Reno coach Joel Abelson was pleased with White's work and thinks he'll get the opportunity to join the Kings, but there is little value for fantasy owners here even if the 22-year-old sticks with Sacramento.

The plan is for the team to evaluate White for the next week and a half before they decide on signing the former first round pick to another 10-day contract. While it's nice to see White land with a team after his highly-publicized falling out with the Houston Rockets last season, he shouldn't be rostered in any fantasy leagues.
