Harper won't start Friday's game against the Heat, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Sam Hauser back in action following a one-game absence due to a thumb issue, Harper will slide to the second unit. The two-way player was productive during his spot start in Wednesday's win over Houston, but he isn't guaranteed to see significant playing time Friday.

Harper registered 11 points (4-8 FG, 3-7 3Pt), nine rebounds and three assists over 33 minutes during Boston's 114-93 win over Houston on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Harper has spent the vast majority of the 2025-26 season in the G League with the Maine Celtics. Despite appearing in just seven games with Boston prior to Wednesday's contest, head coach Joe Mazulla gave Harper the starting nod for the first time in the latter's NBA career due to the absence of Jaylen Brown (hamstring/knee). Harper took advantage of the opportunity, showcasing his energy with four offensive rebounds while showing his range from beyond the arc. Brown will likely be back for Friday's game against the Heat, but Harper's performance against Houston may have earned him some rotational minutes in the short term.

Harper will start Wednesday against the Rockets, Lachard Binkley of SI.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harper has made just seven appearances for the Celtics this season and played a total of 35 minutes, but he'll get the starting nod Wednesday with Jaylen Brown (hamstring/knee) out. Joining Harper in the first unit will be Derrick White, Baylor Scheierman, Luka Garza and Neemias Queta.

Harper amassed three points (1-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and three rebounds over six minutes during Saturday's 132-106 victory over Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
Harper logged six minutes during garbage time, making an appearance for just the fifth time this season. With Boston likely pushing for a playoff spot, there is almost no way Harper will be able to force himself into the nightly rotation, making him a non-factor in all fantasy formats.

Harper (calf) is listed as available for Tuesday's game against the Knicks.
EDGE Analysis
The two-way player had been sidelined for the G League Maine Celtics' previous two games Friday and Sunday due to a right calf injury, but he's back with the parent club and has seemingly returned to full health. Harper has played just 15 total minutes over three appearances with Boston this season and is unlikely to be included in the rotation Tuesday.

The Celtics signed Harper to a two-way contract Thursday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harper was previously on an Exhibit 10 contract. He's made a total of three preseason appearances so far, posting averages of 4.3 points and 1.0 assists in 10.6 minutes per contest. He's expected to spend a lot of time with Maine in the G League to open the 2025-26 season.

The Celtics signed Harper to an Exhibit 10 contract on Saturday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harper has played a total of 11 regular-season games in the NBA over the past three seasons, spending time with the Raptors and Pistons. The Rutgers product will have a chance at a fresh start and an opportunity to stay on the NBA level on his new squad, which will be going through a transition year following the injury suffered by superstar Jayson Tatum (Achilles) and the departures of Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday. Harper played well during his time with the Motor City Cruise in the G League during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 18.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 44 percent from the field and 39 percent from beyond the arc.

The Pistons waived Harper on Thursday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After playing in only one regular-season game for Detroit during the 2024-25 campaign, Harper is officially a free agent. The Rutgers product will be looking for a fresh start in the NBA. He's played a total of 11 games throughout three seasons, averaging 2.2 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.

Harper (illness) is not on Detroit's injury report for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
The two-way player didn't play in Saturday's G League win over the Windy City Bulls due to an illness, but he appears to be healthy ahead of Wednesday's action. Harper hasn't made an appearance with the Pistons yet this year, so his presence (or lack of it) won't have a noticeable impact on the rotation against Oklahoma City.

Harper signed a two-way contract with the Detroit Pistons on Sunday, Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harper recently finished the 2024 calendar year with the G League's Maine Celtics, averaging 11.5 points while shooting 50.5 percent from the field and 40.3 percent from deep. Detroit will be the 24-year-old's second NBA team, his first since Toronto in 2023-24. While with that season's Raptors, Harper played only one game, which saw him log an assist in four minutes. He will look for at least somewhat of a more regular role for the Pistons, though his two-way contract suggests that is far from a guarantee for now.
