Former NBA big man Rasho Nesterovic has informally announced his retirement from professional basketball.
"After 17 years as pro and a lot of injuries I decided to retire," said Nesterovic. "If I cannot be at 100% it is better for me to do something else....I don't think I will be a coach, it is better to work with children." Rasho helped the Spurs win a championship in 2005, and his international career included stops in Italy, Serbia, Slovenia and Greece.
