Patterson (knee) took part in portions of Wednesday's practice, Royce Young of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Patterson had an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee in August and the Thunder continue to take a cautious approach with his workload early in camp. He took part in just a small portion of Wednesday's session and could remain limited over the next few weeks. Patterson indicated earlier in September that he'll "most likely" play during the preseason, but that will likely depend on how well his knee responds to an increase in activity. With the addition of Carmelo Anthony, Patterson is expected to open the season as his backup at power forward.

Patterson (knee) said Friday that he'll "most likely" play during the preseason, Brett Dawson of The Oklahoman reports.
EDGE Analysis
Patterson underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee back in August, but he's progressing well in his recovery and is not expected to miss any regular season time. With a shortened preseason, Patterson isn't likely to log heavy minutes, but the fact that he expects to be cleared is nonetheless encouraging. Assuming he's healthy, Patterson is expected to step in as the Thunder's starting power forward.

Patterson underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee and will be sidelined four-to-six weeks, Erik Horne of NewsOK.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Patterson, who agreed to a three-year, $16.4 million contract with the Thunder during free agency, underwent a quick clean-up procedure, so there's no structural damage or anything that could keep him out for an extended period of time. His four-to-six week timetable puts him in good shape for a return prior the start of training camp on Sept. 26, although the Thunder could ease him back into the swing of things early on to avoid any sort of setbacks. Patterson is currently the favorite to start at power forward following the departure of Domantas Sabonis to the Pacers, which should allow the 6-foot-9 big man a chance to boost his overall production after averaging 24.6 minutes per game in a reserve capacity with the Raptors last season.

Patterson has agreed to sign a three-year, $16.4 million contract with the Thunder, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Patterson's deal reportedly has a player option in the third year of the contract. He'll be joining a Thunder squad that just lost Taj Gibson to the Timberwolves, so there should be an opening in the starting five at power forward. Patterson is coming off a 2016-17 campaign with the Raptors where he averaged 6.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.4 three-pointers across 24.6 minutes, but with a potential starter's workload available in Oklahoma City, he could see a slight increase in production moving forward.

Patterson will return to the bench for Friday's Game 3 against the Cavaliers.
EDGE Analysis
After dropping Game 2, coach Dwane Casey will opt to start Jonas Valanciunas over Patterson. Patterson contributed just three points, four assists, two rebounds and one steal across 18 minutes during Game 2, which may have something to do with coach Casey's decision to give him the yank from the starting five.

Patterson will draw the start at power forward for Wednesday's Game 2 against the Cavaliers, Doug Smith of the Toronto Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Raptors went with a bigger lineup in Game 1 that featured Jonas Valanciunas as the team's starting center. However, after the Cavaliers took home an easy victory, coach Dwane Casey will make a change, shifting Serge Ibaka over to center and inputting Patterson into the top unit at power forward. Patterson logged 22 minutes during Game 1, but should see an uptick in minutes, which likely means a boost in value across the board.

Patterson will start at power forward in Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers.
EDGE Analysis
With Serge Ibaka being rested in the regular season finale, Patterson will get the spot start Wednesday and likely see a solid increase in playing time that exceeds 25 minutes. Even in extended minutes, however, Patterson typically doesn't put up big numbers in the box score as a stretch four and will still have a fairly low ceiling Wednesday night.

Patterson provided 14 points (5-6 FG, 4-4 3Pt), five rebounds and one assist across 24 minutes during Saturday's 94-86 victory over the Mavericks.
EDGE Analysis
With DeMarre Carroll (back) out, Patterson filled in well, showing out for his best scoring outburst since he collected 15 points Dec. 26 the Trail Blazers. Despite playing 20.8 minutes per game March, Patterson doesn't provide much fantasy value across the board, averaging just 5.7 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while knocking down 38.6 percent of his looks over the past 12 outings.

Patterson submitted 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-5 3Pt), seven rebounds and one assist across 21 minutes in a 100-78 win over the Mavericks on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
It was Patterson's best performance in the Raptors' 10 games since the All-Star break, which speaks to the sizable role reduction he's had to deal with following the acquisition of Serge Ibaka. So long as Ibaka is healthy, Patterson will have to settle for about 17-to-25 minutes off the bench in most games, which isn't enough run for him to consistently turn in double-digit scoring totals.

Patterson (knee) will play during Friday's game against the Celtics, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Patterson has missed the past six games due to a knee bruise, but is now recovered enough to play in Friday's game. That being said, his fantasy value has likely dropped, as he'll serve as the primary backup to newly acquired big man Serge Ibaka.
