Patterson tallied 17 points (6-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and four rebounds across 30 minutes Sunday in the Thunder's 117-110 win over the Suns.
EDGE Analysis
After making only one third of his shots through the Thunder's first four games, Patterson turned in by far his most accurate outing from the field of the season. The big man's minutes had sat in the teens in each of the previous four contests, but he benefited from some increased playing time after Steven Adams (calf) was a late scratch. Adams' injury isn't believed to be significant, so assuming the center is ready to go for Tuesday's game against the Clippers, Patterson will likely see his minutes trend downward.

Patterson finished with just seven points and seven rebounds across 17 minutes in Thursday's 101-95 loss to Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Patterson moved to the bench in favor of Jerami Grant and did very little to try and wrestle that spot back again. Patterson offers very little upside in fantasy circles and if he is to move back to the bench, that production could reduce even further. He is a non-factor basically everywhere.

Patterson is not in Thursday's starting lineup against Boston, Erik Horne of The Oklahoman reports.
EDGE Analysis
Patterson recorded four points, two rebounds, a steal and a block over 13 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Kings, and he'll be replaced in the starting five by Jerami Grant. Patterson will be available off the bench.

Patterson managed five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one block across 19 minutes in the Thunder's 108-92 loss to the Clippers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Patterson saw a downturn from a more productive opener, as he took the fewest shot attempts on the first unit in Friday's loss. The veteran forward is primarily valued for his floor-spacing ability, but he's shot just 33.3 percent on six attempts thus far over his first two games. Backup Jerami Grant has been the more productive between him and Patterson in the early going, which could eventually lead to the pair switching roles.

Patterson registered seven points (2-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, one steal and one block across 19 minutes in the Thunder's 108-100 loss to the Warriors on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Patterson played the fewest minutes by far on the starting five, and some shooting struggles capped his overall production. However, the veteran was solid on the boards relative to playing time and still outpaced fellow forward Jerami Grant in overall production despite playing 10 fewer minutes. Patterson's ability to space the floor should keep him on the first unit over Grant for the time being, although as was the case Tuesday, the latter may ultimately garner more playing time on some nights.

Patterson is starting Tuesday's season opener against the Warriors, Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
After Carmelo Anthony was traded this summer, a hole opened up at the starting power forward spot in Oklahoma City. Patterson, who is a threat from deep, will draw the start for the opener. He may nearly split time with backup Jerami Grant, however.

Patterson is starting Wednesday's preseason game against the Pistons, Erik Horne of The Oklahoman reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Carmelo Anthony now in Houston, the starting power forward spot is up for grabs. Patterson will get the first crack at it, while Jerami Grant will also throw his name into the hat.

Patterson is expected to shift back to a bench role for Tuesday's matchup with the Rockets, Brett Dawson of the Oklahoman reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Carmelo Anthony getting the night off for rest on Saturday, Patterson picked up the spot start, posting 12 points, five rebounds and a block across 33 minutes. That said, Anthony will be returning to the lineup as expected Tuesday and will reclaim his usual spot in the top unit, which sends Patterson back to the bench. After logging 33 minutes Saturday, Patterson will likely see his playing time fall back to around the 16.3 minutes he averaged in the three previous games.

Patterson contributed 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt), six rebounds and one block across 33 minutes in Saturday's 108-100 loss to the Trail Blazers.
EDGE Analysis
Patterson drew the start in place of Carmelo Anthony (rest) and acquitted himself well, serving as a solid source of complementary scoring alongside the likes of Russell Westbrook and Paul George. The veteran forward's offensive contributions off the bench have been spotty this season, but he's capable of the occasional double-digit scoring effort and some serviceable rebounding production. With Anthony due back for Tuesday evening's showdown with the Rockets, Patterson will slide back into his bench role, which typically caps his fantasy contributions.

Head coach Billy Donovan said Patterson will start in place of Carmelo Anthony (rest) on Saturday against the Trail Blazers, Erik Horne of The Oklahoman reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Anthony getting the game off for rest purposes, Patterson will pick up his third start of the season. In two previous starts this year, Patterson is averging 7.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists across 30.6 minutes, which is a noticeable uptick in production from his regular 3.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.6 assists across 14.9 minutes off the bench.
