Beverley departed Monday's matchup with the Suns due to a bruised thigh, and the team is yet to provide an update, as it did not hold a morning shootaround. As such, Beverley's status may come down to a game-time decision, and if he's ultimately ruled out, Tyler Ennis would likely pick up some extra minutes, with James Harden taking on even more of the primary ball-handling duties.

Not only has Beverley started alongside Harden and maintained a fairly consistent 30-minute role since returning, but he's also averaging career highs in rebounds (6.2 per game), assists (4.8) and steals (1.4) while leading the Rockets to a 16-3 record over his 19 appearances. While Beverley has probably already been scooped up in competitive deep and mid-sized leagues, his strong all-around numbers are beginning to warrant a roster spot in shallower formats, too.

This is Beverley's second poor-shooting game in a row. He scored just six points on Friday (2-6 FG) in a win over Minnesota. Still, Beverley's on-ball defense remains invaluable for his team. He'll continue to play big minutes as long as he's healthy.

Beverley posted 13 points (5-10 FG, 3-8 3Pt), 11 rebounds, eight assists and one steal across 34 minutes in Friday's 122-100 win over the Pelicans.

Beverley has given the Rockets a huge lift since returning from the knee injury that sidelined him for the first 11 games of the season, and could even begin to start warranting interest in shallower leagues as roster filler. Over his last six games, Beverley is averaging 10.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 2.5 three-pointers and 1.5 steals in 31.3 minutes per game. That sort of multi-category production isn't easily found.

Beverley collected three points (1-8 FG, 1-5 3Pt), 12 rebounds, five assists and two steals across 32 minutes in Friday's 102-99 win over the Thunder.

While Beverley was a non-entity on the offensive end and is now averaging just 7.1 points per game on the season, his stellar defense was a major factor in Russell Westbrook committing eight turnovers and turning in a poor shooting night. Though his scoring is down, Beverley is averaging 5.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.2 three-pointers over his 12 games. Those contributions are good enough to give Beverley some value in deeper leagues.

Beverley contributed 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-6 3Pt), 12 assists, seven rebounds, and three steals in 32 minutes during the Rockets' 134-95 win over the Lakers on Wednesday.

Though he did commit five turnovers, Beverley matched his career-high with 12 dimes in Wednesday's destruction of the Lakers. Through 11 games in 2016-17, Beverley is averaging career highs of 4.7 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.6 blocks per night. His 7.5 points per game so far is the lowest since his rookie season, but Beverley's return from arthroscopic knee surgery is helping the Rockets reach new heights on both ends of the floor.

Beverley finished with one point (0-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four assists, three rebounds and two blocks across 35 minutes in Sunday's 130-114 win over the Trail Blazers.

Beverley is averaging just 7.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.2 three-pointers in 29.3 minutes per game, limiting his value exclusively to deep leagues.

That will likely remain the case for the balance of the season while coach Mike D'Antoni continues to rely on Harden as the team's primary playmaker, but Beverley should routinely see around 25-to-30 minutes while matching up against the opposition's top perimeter threat. While that role won't translate to much value in the fantasy realm, Beverley is viewed as a key part of a Rockets rotation that's sorely lacking in capable defenders.

Beverley is making his season debut and he'll be eased into action while on a minutes restriction. However, once fully healthy, coach Mike D'Antoni already indicated that Beverley will see around 30 minutes per game. That said, Beverley has always been more of a defensive minded player, which usually heavily restricts his fantasy value on most nights. Once on extended minutes he could be worth a look in deeper leagues, but unless he shows improvement offensively and shows the ability to have more cross-category production, he can be avoided in other more shallow leagues.
