Beverley was held scoreless (0-8 FG, 0-5 3Pt) but produced six assists, four rebounds and one block across 20 minutes in the Clippers' 107-98 loss to the Nuggets on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Needless to say, Beverley had a rough go of it offensively to open the season, although his trademark defense helped lead to an almost equally difficult night for Jamal Murray (3-12 FG). The veteran guard also racked up five fouls, leading to a modest allotment of minutes. Although his primary value still lies on the defensive side of the ball, Beverley will still be expected to provide complementary offensive contributions after averaging a career-best 12.2 points -- albeit over just 11 games -- in the 2017-18 campaign.

Beverley scored 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt) and added five assists, four rebounds, three steals and two blocks across 25 minutes Sunday in the Clippers' 110-91 exhibition victory over the Sydney Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Beverley made his first appearance in a competitive setting since Nov. 20 after missing most of his inaugural season with the Clippers due to a meniscus injury and microfracture of his right knee that required surgery. The point guard was cleared to resume full basketball activities earlier this summer and doesn't look as though he'll face any restrictions when the regular season opens Oct. 17. The Clippers have a bevy of backcourt depth that could hurt Beverley's minutes count, but he's at least likely to open the campaign in a starting role ahead of Milos Teodosic and rookie first-round pick Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Beverley (knee) has been cleared to return to full basketball activities, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The point guard was ruled out for the season back in late-November after appearing in only 11 games, and he underwent a procedure on Nov. 22 that was expected to sideline him for up to nine months. However, Beverley's rehab progressed much more quickly than expected, with his doctor, Walter Lowe, calling the process "remarkable." "I saw Pat [Thursday] and ordered a new MRI approximately six months out from his microfracture biocartilage repair and lateral meniscus repair," Lowe said. "His recovery has been remarkable and I have cleared him to return to all basketball activities. This speedy recovery is a testament to Pat's diligence to the comprehensive rehabilitation program between Houston and LA." Obviously, this is positive news for the Clippers, who were among the most injury-riddled teams in the league in 2017-18. Los Angeles has a team option to retain Beverley for $5 million, which they'll likely exercise, unless they opt to negotiate a longer-term extension with the 29-year-old.

Beverley underwent surgery to repair a microfracture and meniscus injury to his right knee and will miss the rest of the season, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Beverley's first season with the Clippers ends in disappointing fashion, as the defensive-minded point guard played just 11 games before succumbing to injury. He finished with averages of 12.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.7 steals and 2.2 three-pointers across 30.4 minutes, while shooting 40.3 percent from the field and 40 percent from the three-point line. After undergoing surgery Wednesday, Beverley will start the long road to recovery and he should be back with the Clippers next season for the final year of his contract despite it being non-guaranteed. However, he's expected to need nine months to make a full recovery, so that could mean he's limited at the start of training camp. With Beverley out, Sindarius Thornwell should continue to start for the time being, though once Milos Teodosic (foot) is cleared to play, it will be Teodosic's spot to lose moving forward. Teodosic, once healthy, and Austin Rivers will both soak up the majority of Beverley's minutes.

Beverley continues to deal with a right knee injury and is out indefinitely, Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Beverley had missed five straight games because of the knee injury, but returned to action Monday against the Knicks, playing 22 minutes and posting nine points, six rebounds and two assists. It appears he may have come back too soon and with some discomfort still lingering, the Clippers are going to shut him down for awhile in order to let it heal completely. With Milos Teodosic (foot) still out as well, the Clippers will likely turn back to Sindarius Thornwell in the backcourt alongside Austin Rivers. Thornwell has already picked up five starts this season in relief, averaging 8.4 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists across 29.5 minutes. The Clippers haven't provided any sort of timetable for Beverley, but it sounds like this absence could potentially last well into December.

Beverley (knee) recorded nine points (3-8 FG, 3-7 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists and one blocks in just 22 minutes during Monday's 107-85 loss to the Knicks.
EDGE Analysis
Beverley returned from a five-game absence, playing limited minutes in a blow-out loss. The fact he was playing at all is a good sign for owners, and the low minutes may have been due in part to the nature of the scoreline as well as a minutes restriction. He looked healthy when he was on the floor, and should be fine to roll out in your lineups for the Clippers next game against the Hawks on Wednesday.

Beverley (knee) has been cleared to play Monday against the Knicks, Brad Turner of the LA Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
After missing the previous two games with a sore right knee, Beverley will return to action Monday, but at this point it's unclear if he'll start. If Doc Rivers does re-insert him into the lineup, rookie second-rounder Sindarius Thornwell would shift to the bench.

Beverley (knee) is officially listed as questionable for Monday's matchup with the Knicks, Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Beverley has missed the last five games because of a sore right knee, but is trending towards full strength. He'll likely test out the injury during Monday's morning shootaround, with another update coming shortly after that session regarding his potential availability. If Beverley does return, that should send Sindarius Thornwell back to a bench role.
