Beverley is doubtful for Wednesday's contest against the Raptors due to right knee soreness, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Beverley will likely sit out the second half of the Lakers' back-to-back due to knee soreness, but the issue isn't expected to be serious. Los Angeles has already ruled out LeBron James (ankle) and Anthony Davis (illness), so expect Russell Westbrook, Lonnie Walker and Austin Reaves to handle most of the playmaking duties Wednesday.

Beverley notched seven points (3-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt), four rebounds and two assists over 23 minutes during Friday's 133-129 victory over the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
Beverley knocked down three of his five field-goal attempts and put together his usual production in rebounds and assists. The point guard has yet to attempt more than eight shots in a game this season, averaging 4.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists on 28.9 percent shooting from the field over 16 appearances.

Beverley has been suspended three games for shoving Deandre Ayton during Tuesday's loss to the Suns.
EDGE Analysis
Beverley was ejected from Tuesday's matchup late in the fourth quarter, and the league announced Thursday that his punishment was "based in part on Beverley's history of unsportsmanlike acts." He'll begin serving his suspension during Friday's game against the Spurs and won't be eligible to return until Nov. 30 against the Trail Blazers. Russell Westbrook, Dennis Schroder and Kendrick Nunn should see increased run in Beverley's absence.

Beverley accumulated zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 10 rebounds and two assists over 29 minutes before getting ejected from Tuesday's 115-105 loss to Phoenix.
EDGE Analysis
Always the agitator, Beverley gave Deandre Ayton a shove after a flagrant foul called on Devin Booker, who eventually fouled out. Beverley failed to score but grabbed 10 rebounds in the loss, which isn't the kind of line the Lakers need from a starting point guard. Beverley could be subject to a suspension as a result of his shove of Ayton, so fantasy managers who have been counting on the veteran guard in season-long leagues may want to check back on his status ahead of the Lakers' next game Friday in San Antonio.

Beverley logged three points (1-5 FG, 1-4 3Pt), one rebound and three assists across 20 minutes during Sunday's 123-92 victory over the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
No one can deny Beverley's intangibles as a leader and on-court agitator, but it's becoming apparent that the Lakers are leaving points on the table by keeping him in the starting lineup. Russell Westbrook, Dennis Schroder and Kendrick Nunn are regularly out-performing him from the bench.

Beverley logged two points (1-5 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds, five assists and one block in 26 minutes during Sunday's 116-103 win over the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Beverley had himself another underwhelming game Sunday, adding to what has been a terrible start to the season. Coming into the season, he was seen as a viable 12-team asset, albeit towards the tail end of drafts. Despite continuing to roll with the starting unit, his production has been poor, landing him outside the top 190 in 12-team formats. Outside of some limited streaming appeal, Beverely can be safely overlooked.

The veteran is ready to return to the floor after missing the past two games with an illness. Across eight starts this year, Beverley has averaged 4.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists.

Beverley (illness) has been ruled out of Monday's game against Utah, Dave McMenamin of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran guard missed Sunday's loss to the Cavaliers, and Lakers head coach Darvin Ham revealed after the contest that Beverley will remain out Monday on the second half of the back-to-back. Beverley's next chance to play will come Wednesday versus the Clippers.

Beverley won't play Sunday against the Cavaliers due to a non-COVID illness, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran guard had started every game for the Lakers this season, but after falling ill, Beverley will likely cede his spot in the starting five to either Austin Reaves or Kendrick Nunn after head coach Darvin Ham said Russell Westbrook will continue to serve as the team's sixth man. Though Beverley is valued for his defensive contributions, he's not making much of an impact for fantasy purposes this season with averages of 4.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.6 three-pointers in 27.9 minutes per contest.

Beverley closed with zero points (0-3 FG), four rebounds, three assists and one steal over 27 minutes during Wednesday's 120-117 overtime win over the Pelicans.
EDGE Analysis
Beverley hasn't been a prolific scorer early in the regular season, but he failed to convert any of his three field-goal attempts during Wednesday's overtime victory. He remained consistent in rebounds and assists, but the 34-year-old hasn't displayed much fantasy upside despite his starting role to begin the 2022-23 campaign.
