Okongwu has scored at least 20 points in three of his seven outings since the All-Star break, and it was also the fourth time over that span in which he recorded at least one tally in each of the five major categories. The big man is averaging 15.6 points, 8.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.4 blocks per game since the All-Star break.

This was a tremendous showing for Okongwu as the Hawks improved to 31-31 on the season. Okongwu trails only Jalen Johnson in fantasy value for nine-category formats in Atlanta, posting averages of 16.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.1 steals, 1.0 blocks and 2.1 three-pointers.

Okongwu did his part in Atlanta's victory, anchoring the paint while scoring efficiently. Sunday marked the big man's 12th double-double of the season and his first of February. The 25-year-old entered the contest averaging 15.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.2 blocks while shooting 54.0 percent from the field and 54.2 percent from beyond the arc over his previous five appearances, production that reflects his scoring uptick and improved perimeter efficiency this year.

Okongwu finished Friday's 128-97 loss to Miami with 22 points (8-12 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT), three rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal across 29 minutes.

After scoring just eight points on 4-of-9 shooting from the field in Thursday's win over Philadelphia, Okongwu bounced back on the offensive end Friday. The sixth-year center led Atlanta in points, reaching the 20-point mark for the first time since Jan. 23 and for the 17th time this season. Additionally, he knocked down an efficient four three-pointers and has hit multiple triples in all but one of his last nine outings. He also racked up multiple blocks for the third time in his last five appearances, though he has been less effective on the glass of late, finishing with fewer than four rebounds in two of his last three showings.

Okongwu had eight points (4-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt), nine rebounds and two assists across 26 minutes during Thursday's 117-107 win over the 76ers.

EDGE Analysis

Okongwu turned in a modest performance in Atlanta's first outing following the All-Star break. The big man failed to score in double figures for the first time since Jan. 19, though he finished second on the Hawks in rebounds after averaging just 4.7 boards per game in his previous three games. After starting the season in a bench role, Okongwu should continue to start and see significant burn. He'll aim to bounce back on the offensive end in the second leg of this back-to-back set Friday against Miami.

During that latter stretch, Okongwu is averaging 17.1 points, 6.3 boards, 2.9 threes, 2.3 assists, 1.1 blocks and 1.0 steals while shooting 51.9 percent from the floor and 48.8 percent from long range.

Okongwu returned from a four-game absence, moving straight back into the starting lineup. He picked up right where he left off, producing on both ends of the floor, continuing what has been a career-best season. With Kristaps Porzingis now out of the way, Okongwu is firmly established as the starting center moving forward. In 48 appearances, he has averaged 16.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.0 three-pointers and 2.2 combined steals and blocks.
