Mirotic has decided to sign a contract with Barcelona of the EuroLeague, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

In a shocking development, Mirotic -- reportedly in the market for a $45-50 million NBA deal -- has decided to sign overseas. It's not immediately clear what prompted this decision or if Mirotic has plans of returning to the NBA in the near future. His loss to a non-NBA team makes the role player market a little thinner for free agency, which officially starts Sunday afternoon.

Mirotic missed all four of his field-goal attempts, adding just two rebounds in nine minutes during Thursday's 105-99 loss to the Raptors.

Mirotic moved back to the bench Thursday, playing just nine minutes in the Game 5 loss. He has struggled mightily throughout this series and the trend continued here with arguably his worst performance of the season. Given his lack of production, there is a chance he falls out of the rotation completely. The Bucks need to turn things around after losing three straight games or risk what can only be described as a disappointing end to what has been a fantastic season.

Mirotic will come off the bench in Thursday's Game 5 against the Raptors.

After getting blown out in Game 4 the Bucks are taking Mirotic out of the starting lineup in favor of Malcolm Brogdon. Mirotic will figure to continue seeing minutes off the bench as the Bucks look to reclaim a lead in the series.

Mirotic totaled 11 points (4-10 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two assists, one rebound and one steal over 25 minutes in the Bucks' loss to the Raptors on Tuesday.

Mirotic finished with another pedestrian performance in Tuesday's loss, scoring just 11 points and doing little else other than scoring. In 12 games prior to Tuesday, he averaged 10.2 points and 4.8 rebounds, making only 1.7 threes and shooting 38.8 percent from the floor and 30.8 percent from three. His shooting slump and limited production have rendered him virtually unusable in daily contests.

Mirotic tallied 15 points (5-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), and six rebounds in 23 minutes during Friday's 125-103 victory over Toronto.

Mirotic was hot to begin the game Friday, helping the Bucks to a commanding first-quarter lead. He cooled off from then but the damage was essentially done with the Bucks steamrolling the Raptors in an eventual 22-point victory. Mirotic continues to run with the starters despite the return of Malcolm Brogdon and it appears that could remain the case for the immediate future. The Bucks will now head North where they will look to take a stranglehold on the series as they look to reach their first NBA Finals since 1974.

Mirotic will remain in the starting lineup for Wednesday's Game 1 against Toronto, TNT's Kristen Ledlow reports.

With Malcolm Brogdon sidelined to begin the playoffs, Milwaukee initially rolled with Sterling Brown in the starting lineup, but Brown struggled to begin the second round series against Boston and was replaced by Mirotic for Game 2. The Bucks rolled with that alignment for the rest of the series, and after a five-game victory, coach Mike Budenholzer will stick with Mirotic at one forward spot, with Giannis Antetokounmpo at the other. Eric Bledsoe and Khris Middleton will continue to start in the backcourt, while Brogdon will come off the bench, as he did in Game 5 against the Celtics.

Mirotic totaled 10 points (3-10 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block across 28 minutes in the Bucks' series-clinching win over the Celtics on Wednesday.

Mirotic produced a double-double in Wednesday's win, adding quality numbers across the board. In four starts, he's averaged 10.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.

After a sluggish Game 1, coach Mike Budenholzer moved Mirotic into the starting five for Game 2, and while he struggled shooting the ball, the Bucks were able to get into a better flow, offensively, eventually overwhelming the Celtics in the third quarter.
