Mannion signed with the Italian club Virtus Bologna on Tuesday, Jordan Schultz of ESPN reports.

A top recruit out of high school, Mannion spent one season at Arizona before being selected by the Warriors with the 48th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. He appeared in 30 games last season but shot just 34.2 percent from the field en route to averages of 4.1 points, 2.3 assists and 1.5 rebounds per contest. The 20-year-old guard will now head over to Italy, where he should find a much larger role with the Serie A club. The Warriors will still hold Mannion's rights as a restricted free agent should he return to the league in the future.

Mannion had one steal during Thursday's win over Cleveland.

EDGE Analysis

The rookie made his third straight appearance but logged just one minute of action to close out the win. Mannion has recorded 12 points and four rebounds throughout his past four outings with the Warriors.

Mannion posted 19 points (5-12 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three assists and a rebound across 29 minutes in Thursday's 141-119 loss to the Kings.

EDGE Analysis

Stephen Curry's absence has opened up a spot at point guard, and while Jordan Poole was the presumptive recipient of increased output, Mannion outplayed his teammate Thursday. Even though this is a temporary scenario for both guards, Mannion was the more effective shooter in the loss and played an almost identical minute count to Poole. His salary is much less expensive than Poole in most DFS formats, and it will be interesting to see if the trend continues Friday against the Hawks.

Mannion tallied four points (2-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt), six assists and two steals across 18 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's 108-98 loss to the 76ers.

EDGE Analysis

Mannion has been bypassed for a spot in the starting five with Stephen Curry (tailbone) sidelined for the past three games, but the two-way rookie is seeing consistent playing time as the backup point guard behind Jordan Poole. He's received double-digit minutes in each of his eight games since returning from the G League bubble in Orlando, averaging 6.5 points, 3.1 assists, 2.1 rebounds, 1.1 three-pointers and 1.0 steals. Barring an injury to another rotational guard, Mannion is unlikely to see his production and playing time rise much from this current level, but his role on the second unit at least appears to be secure.

Mannion totaled 10 points (3-7 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and four assists across 19 minutes in Monday's loss to the Lakers.

EDGE Analysis

The rookie tied his career high in points in the contest, reaching double figures for the second time in his last three games. Since returning from the G League in early March, Mannion has posted per-game averages of 8.5 points, 3.5 assists and 2.5 boards in 20.8 minutes over four games.

Mannion is in the the starting five for Thursday's game against the Suns, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.

EDGE Analysis

With Stephen Curry (rest), Kelly Oubre (wrist) and Draymond Green (ankle) all out Thursday, the Warriors lineup had to undergo serious changes. Mannion, a rookie second-round pick, hasn't played since January and is only averaging 6.0 minutes per game on the season.

Mannion was recalled to the Warriors on Monday, Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

EDGE Analysis

Mannion will join the NBA squad with the G League season winding down. He put up solid numbers with Santa Cruz, averaging 19.3 points, 6.9 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.8 steals in nine contests, but he's unlikely to have much of a role in Golden State's rotation.

Mannion (quadriceps) posted 12 points (4-13 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 12 assists and four rebounds across 31 minutes in Thursday's 116-111 win over G League Memphis.

EDGE Analysis

After missing two straight games earlier in the week, Mannion returned to his typical role as G League Santa Cruz's starting point guard. The 19-year-old led the team in assists and was one of six players to reach double-digit points. Through seven games this year, Mannion has averaged 17.4 points, 7.1 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game while connecting on 37.5 percent of his field goals.

Mannion didn't play in Monday's 129-90 win over G League Agua Caliente due to a quad bruise.

EDGE Analysis

Mannion typically is in the starting lineup when he's healthy. The rookie second-round pick has averaged 18.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game while hitting 38.4 percent of his shots this season.

Mannion recorded 20 points (7-21 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 10 assists and two rebounds across 37 minutes in Wednesday's 111-108 win over G League Canton.

EDGE Analysis

Mannion put up 21 shots Wednesday, far more than any of his teammates, and his efficiency was suspect. However, he led the team in scoring and notched a double-double in the process. The rookie guard has hit 38.2 percent of his field goals this year, including 32.8 percent of three-pointers.
