Williams will come off the bench Thursday against the Cavaliers.
EDGE Analysis
Williams found success Wednesday in a rare start, ending the night with 18 points in 47 minutes, but he'll return to the bench Thursday. The 27-year-old is averaging 6.2 points and 1.8 rebounds in 11 appearances as a reserve this season.

Williams ended Wednesday's 127-113 loss to the Spurs with 18 points (8-18 FG, 2-4 3Pt), four rebounds, two steals and one assist across 47 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Making his first NBA start since he was a rookie with Portland in 2022-23, Williams led the Warriors in scoring while handling a massive workload on the front end of a back-to-back set. The 27-year-old wing hasn't had a consistent role in the rotation despite all of Golden State's injuries. He played just 11 minutes in the team's last game Sunday and has played 20-plus minutes just three times in 11 appearances since the beginning of March. A two-way player, Williams also has limited availability moving forward; he'll be eligible to suit up for just three of the Warriors' remaining six games. With that in mind, the Warriors could elect to make Williams inactive for Thursday's game against the Cavaliers if the team is able to get some players back from injury.

Williams will start Wednesday's game against the Spurs, Anthony Slater of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the Warriors being very shorthanded in the first leg of this back-to-back set, the two-way player will make his first start since the 2022-23 campaign with Portland. He's averaging 6.2 points and 1.8 rebounds across 13.3 minutes per tilt in 11 regular-season games thus far, though he should see a significant uptick in minutes against San Antonio.

Williams (illness) is not listed on the injury report for Sunday's game against the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
Williams did not play for the Santa Cruz Warriors in Friday's G League game against the Texas Legends and last saw NBA-level action March 21 against the Hawks. He'll be eligible to play in five of the Warriors' final eight games of the regular season.

The Warriors list Williams (two-way) out for Friday's game against the Wizards.
EDGE Analysis
Even with the Warriors having already ruled out seven other players due to injury, the team will keep Williams inactive Friday for a third straight game so as not to use up his availability at the NBA level over the remainder of the season. After Friday's contest, Williams will be eligible to play in five of Golden State's remaining eight games.

Williams (two-way) was inactive Monday for the Warriors' 137-131 overtime win over the Mavericks.
EDGE Analysis
After pouring in 19 points to go with four rebounds, two assists and one steal over 29 minutes in the Warriors' 126-110 loss to the Hawks on Saturday, Williams ended up dropping out of the rotation Monday while Moses Moody (wrist), Gary Payton (knee) and Kristaps Porzingis (back) returned from 10-, one- and one-game absences, respectively. Moody ended up exiting in the overtime period with a left knee injury that looked to be serious, but his expected absence won't necessarily reopen a spot in the rotation for Williams in future games. Due to his status as a two-way player, Williams has limited availability at the NBA level; he'll be eligible to suit up for just five of the Warriors' remaining 10 contests of the regular season.

Williams ended with 19 points (8-9 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal over 29 minutes during Saturday's 126-110 loss to the Hawks.
EDGE Analysis
Williams scored nine of his season-high 19 points in the fourth quarter and finished as the Warriors' second-leading scorer behind De'Anthony Melton (20 points). Williams' minutes have been inconsistent since joining the Warriors on a two-way contract in mid-February, but he saw a season-high 29 minutes Saturday due to multiple injuries on the roster, including Gary Payton (knee), Al Horford (calf) and Stephen Curry (knee).

Williams had 18 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal over 22 minutes during Monday's 114-101 loss to the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
The journeyman signed a two-way deal with the Warriors last month, and he impressed during his second game of action with the parent club. He's already made waves with the G League since his acquisition, and the Warriors are in desperate need of depth at his position. Although we shouldn't expect too much from Williams, his stat line was encouraging.

Williams agreed Monday with the Warriors on a two-way contract, Jake Fischer of BleacherReport.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old wing will fill the Warriors' remaining two-way spot, which was vacated when Pat Spencer was upgraded to a standard contract earlier this month. Williams previously made 27 appearances at the NBA level over the past three seasons between stops with the Trail Blazers and Rockets, but he's played exclusively in the G League so far in 2025-26. Over his 35 appearances with the Long Island Nets, Williams averaged 18.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.0 three-pointers, 1.8 steals and 0.6 blocks in 34.0 minutes per contest while shooting 47.2 percent from the field and 36.5 percent from downtown.
