Marshall appeared to be shaken up and favoring his leg late in the game after a collision late fourth quarter, but he finished the contest (albeit in some noticeable pain) and no injury has been reported by the Mavericks as of yet.

It was an incredibly efficient performance from Marshall during Thursday's win. He scored 22 of his 30 points in the second half and reached 30 points for the fourth time in his six-year NBA career (and second time this season). Marshall has started in each of Dallas' last nine games, and over that span he has averaged 19.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 3.3 threes and 1.4 steals over 31.5 minutes per game.

Marshall ended Thursday's 144-122 win over the Jazz with 22 points (9-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, four assists and three steals in 24 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Marshall's performance was a reminder that he can deliver when Dallas' top options are unavailable. It's his third game in a row with 22 or more points while having three steals in two of those games. As the Mavericks battle a cast of injuries, Marshall is a player who's trending upwards.

Marshall posted 24 points (9-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 6-8 FT), five rebounds and three assists over 38 minutes during Wednesday's 118-109 loss to the Nuggets.

With 24 points on the night, Marshall posted his third-highest scoring total of the campaign. Both Daniel Gafford (ankle) and Cooper Flagg (ankle) left this game early with injuries, meaning Marshall may have more touches coming his way. Over his last seven games, he's averaging 15.9 points, 3.7 assists and 3.6 rebounds in 31.3 minutes per contest.

Marshall chipped in 22 points (9-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, nine assists, one block and three steals in 32 minutes during Monday's 113-105 win over the Nets.

The 27-year-old forward put together his best scoring effort since Dec. 20 while nearly recording his first double-double of the season. Marshall has scored in double digits in 17 of the last 18 games (14 starts), averaging 15.6 points, 3.7 boards, 3.1 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.8 threes over that stretch while shooting 59.1 percent from the floor.

Marshall continues to play a key role on both ends of the floor for Dallas. He's used to large workloads at this point, and they may be even safer if Anthony Davis misses time with the hand injury he suffered Thursday. Over his last three outings, Marshall has seen 33.9 minutes per contest.
