If Conley is held out of Monday's contest, look for Mario Chalmers to grab the spot start. However, the game itself could be cancelled due to an ice-storm heading towards Portland on Monday.

Even though he considerably struggled from the field, the nine-year vet managed his eighth straight double-digit scoring performance. While he's certainly been prone to cold spells from the field this season, Conley consistently contributes enough rebounds and assists to typically still provide solid fantasy value in games where his scoring suffers a downturn.

The point guard should be in line for another big game Sunday, as Memphis hosts the cellar-dwelling Lakers.

Conley scored a team-high 21 points while matching a season-high 40 minutes. Grizzlies' backup point guard Mario Chalmers was ejected in the first half after he picked up three personal fouls and two technical fouls in five minutes, forcing Conley to take on a larger load of floor time than usual. Conley has reached 20 or more points in three of the past four games. He now has 10 games this season in which he has scored 20 or more points, and the Grizzlies' offense will likely continue relying on Conley heavily to create offense for himself and others.

Conley supplied 18 points (6-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six assists, one steal, and one rebound across 32 minutes in Tuesday's 104-90 win over the 76ers.

EDGE Analysis

Don't look now, but Conley seems to be breaking out of his season-long slumber. He's gone off for at least 18 points in four of his last five contests, and while he's only shot 40.6 percent from the field during that stretch, Conley has helped his cause by getting to the free-throw line with more frequency. Aside from a drop in his shooting efficiency, Conley's numbers have remained relatively stable across the board compared to a season ago, and his 1.7 turnovers per game is his lowest mark since the 2008-09 campaign.

Conley scored 20 points (6-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 7-8 FT) while adding eight assists, four rebounds and four steals in 33 minutes during Saturday's win over the Pacers.

EDGE Analysis

His production has been up and down this season but Conley could be finding a hot streak, as he's put up 18 or more points in three of his last four games. The Grizzlies continue to tweak their rotations towards a smaller, more athletic lineup, but Conley doesn't have a lot of competition for the starting point guard spot, so his minutes are likely fairly secure.

Conley scored 20 points (6-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-7 Ft) while adding four rebounds, two assists and a steal in 35 minutes during Friday's loss to the Mavericks.

EDGE Analysis

It's his first game with 20 or more points in 10 December starts. Conley's numbers remain down on the season for the struggling Grizzlies, and he's shooting a career-low 40.2 percent from the floor, so Zach Randolph's demotion to the second unit may not be the only roster shake-up coming in Memphis.

Conley scored 18 points (7-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with 11 assists, four rebounds, and two steals through 37 minutes in a 112-95 win over the wizards on Monday.

EDGE Analysis

Conley has picked up the pace since his 0-7 shooting effort on Dec. 8 -- averaging 13. 5 points, 6.8 assists, and 1.5 blocks over his last four games. Given his track record, it's a safe bet that Conley's 40.6 field goal percentage will improve before long.

Conley had arguably his worst performance of the season Tuesday against the Thunder, being held scoreless and missing all seven of his shot attempts in 22 minutes of action. He did add six assists and one steal.

EDGE Analysis

Conley had been struggling a bit in the few games prior to Tuesday, but his problems seemed to climax against the Thunder, as the Grizzlies got absolutely blown out.. Conley has now shot only 26 percent from the field over his last three games, sinking only two of ten three-pointers over that timeframe. Even with his recent slump, Conley is still one of the more dependable and underrated point guards in the league, and it is hard to bet against him bouncing back sooner rather than later. Conley is averaging 14.7 points and 6.2 assists in 31.5 minutes this season.

Conley managed 15 points (5-13 FG, 5-5 FT), five rebounds, four assists and a pair of blocks over 28 minutes in Thursday's 103-83 loss to the Spurs.

EDGE Analysis

Conley's shooting has been somewhat inconsistent as of late, and Thursday's performance marked the second time in the last four games he's been under 40 percent in that category. However, he's posted 11 consecutive double-digit scoring games despite the occasional struggles, and continues to make moderate contributions across other categories on most nights. If he can improve on what is currently a career-low 42 percent mark from the field, the veteran guard will certainly benefit both the offensively-challenged Grizzlies and his fantasy owners.
