Conley exploded for 24 points (8-19 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 11 assists and four rebounds across 38 minutes in Sunday's 112-103 overtime win over the Wizards.
EDGE Analysis
After receiving only 24 minutes in Saturday's loss to the Knicks, Conley returned to take on a larger workload in the second half of the Grizzlies' back-to-back set and was able to come away with his first double-double of the season. Given the Grizzlies' huge financial investment in him, it's expected that Conley will see larger workloads more often than not this season, and with the veteran point guard reporting no health issues thus far after an injury-plagued 2015-16 campaign, he should remain a top-notch producer. Through his first three games, Conley is averaging 19.7 points and 6.7 assists per contest, though he's still looking to notch his first steal.
