Both Michael Redd and the Suns believe he is ready to make his debut on Thursday. Redd has been working himself into game shape, and his Phoenix debut sounds like it's on the horizon. Redd said "I can't wait," when asked about getting onto the court, and the team could certainly use his ability to space the floor in the second unit. He's waiver wire fodder outside of extremely deep leagues.

Michael Redd might make his Suns debut in home games on Thursday and Friday. Alvin Gentry does not expect Redd to play Tuesday night at the Lakers. It will be interesting to see how much gas Redd has left in his tank -- he has a sweet shooting stroke and the Suns will likely use him to spread the court and not much more.

Michael Redd (knee) is at least 10 days away from playing in a game. That would put Redd's return right around the middle of January. It was reported he'd be out 2-3 weeks when the team signed him at the end of December, so this jives with the initial timetable. He'll look to carve out a place in the rotation but can be safely left on waivers outside of extremely deep leagues.

Michael Redd (knee) participated in his first practice on Tuesday with the Suns. He's expected to be out for several more days but did join the team for the trip to Dallas. Alvin Gentry said Redd has a "long way to go," but Redd said that he played without pain, and that's the most important thing.

Michael Redd will not play for the Suns on Monday. He might be nearing his debut for Phoenix and while he bring with him a big name, his knees are not the same as when he was playing well for the Bucks a few years ago. Unless you're in a very deep league, Redd should remain on waivers.

The Suns have signed Michael Redd to a one-year contract. Redd will be brought in to help support the offensive attack on the wing which has been very poor in the early part of the season. The veteran will have to work himself into game shape in order to contribute, and owners should just monitor him over the next week or so to observe how the Suns use him.

Michael Redd is likely to sign with the Suns. Phoenix is desperate for a shooter in the second unit, and Redd, if healthy, fits the bill. He won't play immediately as he works himself into game shape, but should be an interesting name for owners to monitor.

The Pacers "appear" to be in the lead to sign free agent Michael Redd. Redd spent time with some Pacers officials on Thursday, although the Wizards, Knicks and Celtics all have varying levels of interest in him as well. It shouldn't be much longer before he makes a final decision, but it wouldn't be a shock to see him land in Indiana after the team was turned down by Jamal Crawford.

Free agent SG Michael Redd is talking to several teams about a deal, believed to be the Pacers, Pacers, Knicks, Wizards and Celtics. Redd's knees have been a disaster and he'll see very limited run in a compact season. It's probably best to let someone else draft him.

The Knicks will look at Michael Redd and Troy Murphy after losing out on Shawne Williams. As we previously noted, New York also has an interest in Mo Evans. The Knicks need to find a scorer for the second unit, so it should be interesting to see what the plan is now that Williams, who the team wanted to re-sign, has decided to head to the Nets.
