Gbinije was reassigned to the D-League on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Both Gbinije and Henry Ellenson were sent back to the D-League, and the pair will be available for the Drive's matchup with Long Island on Wednesday night. Coach Stan Van Gundy said Gbinije and Ellenson will also play in Saturday's game against Rio Grande Valley, and it's unclear when they might return to Detroit.

Gbinije was recalled from the D-League on Saturday, Aaron McMann of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie out of Syracuse has not been a rotational player for the Pistons this season, and that's likely to continue after the All-Star break. Gbinije has appeared in only nine games, recording four total points, two assists and three rebounds in 30 minutes.

Gbinije was assigned to the D-League's Grand Rapids Drive on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Gbinije rejoined the Pistons in time for Monday's win over the 76ers and made a rare appearance, logging three minutes in garbage time. Since the rookie was expected to be a healthy inactive for Wednesday's game against the Lakers, however, he'll head back to the D-League in search of more playing time. He's expected to play in both of the Drive's next two contests, set for Wednesday and Friday.

Gbinije was assigned to the D-League's Grand Rapids Drive on Friday, Keith Langlois of Pistons.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gbinije will be away from the Pistons for both halves of the Friday/Saturday back-to-back set, as he'll instead play two games over the weekend for Grand Rapids, where he'll be able to pick up extended minutes. He could be a candidate to get recalled early next week, but even if that's the case, Gbinije would likely remain inactive for any of the Pistons' games.

Gbinije was recalled Thursday from the D-League's Grand Rapids Drive, Aaron McMann of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gbinije was assigned to the D-League Wednesday in order to get some in-game experience against the Westchester Knicks despite the Pistons having a game of their own. He'll return to Detroit to practice with them in between games Thursday, but he is not expected to play a role on the wing or in the backcourt anytime soon.

Gbinije will be sent back to the D-League's Grand Rapids Drive, Rod Beard of The Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gbinije has been dealing with a deep bone bruise in his left forearm, causing him to be absent from competing with the Pistons throughout January. He was able to participate in a couple games with the Drive once he began to show signs of improved health. However, even when Gbinije proves to be healthy, it's unlikely that he'll fit into Detroit's regular rotation once he returns from the D-League.

Gbinije (forearm) was recalled Tuesday from the D-League's Grand Rapids Drive, Rod Beard of The Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gbinije has dealt with a deep bone bruise in his left forearm throughout the duration of January, but he was able to take part in games on Saturday and Monday with the Drive. He played 37 and 36 minutes, respectively, during those two contests, so it appears the injury shouldn't be cause for a concern moving forward. That said, even at full strength with the Pistons, Gbininje isn't expected to be a part of the team's regular rotation and could very well be one of the two inactives for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.

Gbinije was assigned Friday to the Grand Rapids Drive of the D-League, Keith Langlois of Pistons.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gbinije has been out for an extended time with a forearm injury, but it looks like he could potentially get some rehab work by playing in two games Saturday and Monday with Grand Rapids. Expect Gbinije to return to the team following Monday's contest, but he likely will remain buried on the Pistons' bench.

Gbinije (forearm) is listed as out for Monday's game against the Kings, James Ham of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Updates on Gbinije have been scarce since he was diagnosed with a bruised left forearm Jan. 3, but it seems as though he's still hurting and will need further time to recover. After Monday's game, the Pistons are off the schedule until Saturday against the Heat, but even if Gbinije is healthy by then, he'll still likely occupy one of the team's two inactive spots for that contest.

Gbinije (forearm) will sit out Wednesday's game against the Hawks, Keith Langlois of Pistons.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gbinije continues to deal with some soreness in his right forearm, an injury that's kept him sidelined for nearly two weeks. He'll continue to receive treatment moving forward, but even when healthy, he's not expected to see the court if the Pistons are in a competitive contest.
