Peavy recorded 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists, one block and four steals across 27 minutes during Wednesday's 112-104 loss to the Pistons.
EDGE Analysis
Peavy turned in the best game of his young career, setting season-high marks in points, threes, rebounds and steals. With Zion Williamson exiting early due to illness, it was Peavy who filled the void. While this performance should probably be viewed as nothing more than an outlier, it wouldn't be surprising to see him step into a larger role down the stretch if and when New Orleans opts to throw in the towel.

Peavy (coach's decision) went unused off the bench in Wednesday's 116-113 loss to the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie second-round pick had appeared in each of the Pelicans' last 14 contests while averaging 14.9 minutes per contest, but he shot just 35.8 percent from the field and 27.6 percent from three-point range. Perhaps as a direct result of Peavy's lack of efficiency, the Pelicans opted to drop him from the rotation Wednesday while Jordan Hawkins and Bryce McGowens served as the team's backup wings and Karlo Matkovic served as the backup power forward. Peavy's chances of reclaiming minutes won't get any easier moving forward, as the Pelicans will eventually get Herbert Jones (ankle) and Jose Alvarado (oblique) back from injuries.

Peavy provided 11 points (5-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt), five rebounds, six assists, two blocks and two steals in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 117-100 loss to Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
The Pelicans were missing multiple players Wednesday, including Herbert Jones (ankle) and Trey Murphy (back). Both of those guys are presumed to be day-to-day, however. Peavy has been relatively quiet lately, posting averages of 5.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.5 three-pointers over his last four outings.

Peavy supplied four points (2-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and one rebound over 13 minutes during Monday's 135-132 loss to the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
Peavy has seen his role steadily increase ever since his spot start Nov. 22 against Atlanta, averaging just 2.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.7 steals across 14.7 minutes in his last three games after averaging 9.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.7 steals across 24.6 minutes in the five games prior. With the return of Herbert Jones (calf), it appears Peavy's role will continue on this downward trend.

Peavy ended with eight points (4-6 FG), one rebound, two assists and one steal across 20 minutes during Tuesday's 149-142 overtime loss to the Timberwolves.
EDGE Analysis
Peavy has a clearer pathway to minutes while Zion Williamson (groin) and Herbert Jones (calf) are sidelined. That said, Peavy has averaged just 9.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 steals in 22.7 minutes per contest over his last nine outings.

Peavy had 10 points (5-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and four steals over 20 minutes during Monday's 143-130 victory over Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
Peavy scored in double digits for the first time since Nov. 17, when he notched a season-high 16 points against the Thunder coming off the bench. Peavy has logged at least 17 minutes in four of his last five games, and his playing time seems to be trending in the right direction. However, he's still not producing -- or playing -- enough to be considered a reliable fantasy option in most formats.

Peavy will come off the bench for Monday's game versus the Bulls, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Peavy received a spot start Saturday night with Zion Williamson taking a rest day, but Williamson is back for Monday's game, which will transition Peavy back to a reserve role. Still, the rookie second-rounder will likely see meaningful playing time with Herbert Jones (calf) and Jordan Hawkins (personal) unavailable.

Peavy will start Saturday's game against the Hawks, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie second-rounder will make his first career start due to Zion Williamson (hamstring) and Herbert Jones (back) being sidelined. Peavy has logged double-digit minutes in three straight appearances, averaging 9.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists while shooting 52.2 percent from the field in 18.0 minutes per contest during that span.

Peavy finished Monday's 126-109 loss to Oklahoma City with 16 points (7-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt), four rebounds and four assists over 24 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Peavy came out of nowhere to score a season-high 16 points, having scored a total of 14 points across his previous nine appearances. While this was a great performance, all it does is highlight the fact that New Orleans is willing to try anything to get results at this point. To be clear, Peavy is not someone who needs to be prioritized outside of very deep leagues.

Peavy notched zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and three rebounds over 18 minutes during Wednesday's 101-99 win over the Mavericks.
EDGE Analysis
The absence of Jordan Poole (knee) paved the way for Peavy to play, but he was unable to take advantage of the opportunity, missing his lone field-goal attempt. If Poole can't go Saturday against San Antonio, Peavy may likely see the court for extended minutes again.
