Kabengele has signed with AEK Athens in Greece, EuroHoops.net reports.

AEK have been making solid moves in the offseason and have added Kabengele after signing another NBA veteran in Ben McLemore. The 25-year-old Kabengele spent the last four years playing for the Clippers, Cavaliers and Celtics, and he also had several stints in the G League. Ultimately, Kabengele played 55 games in the NBA and 79 in the G League, averaging 20.0 points and 10.8 rebounds with the Maine Celtics last season.

Kabengele registered 18 points (8-11 FG, 1-2 FT), 14 rebounds, two assists and one steal in 30 minutes Sunday against Windy City.

Kabengele was the only member of his team to secure 10-plus rebounds, and he finished the night second in scoring behind Denzel Valentine (20 points). Kabengele is averaging an impressive 14.2 rebounds over his last fix appearances.

Kabengele hadn't appeared in a contest for Maine since Feb. 11 while attending to a personal matter, but he didn't show any signs of rust. He shot 54.5 percent from the field and missed a double-double by one rebound. Kabengele has been a consistent contributor throughout the regular season, scoring in double digits in all 18 appearances.

Kabengele (personal) wasn't on the injury report for Thursday's game versus Indiana, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

Kabengele will be available Thursday after missing the Celtics' final game before the All-Star break due to personal reasons. However, his availability is unlikely to affect Boston's rotation in a major way.
