Dellavedova (knee) does not expect to take the court before Monday's game in Brooklyn, the Akron Beacon Journal's Jason Lloyd reports. He said he will practice Wednesday, but wants a second practice Sunday before returning to game action. He brings a lot to the table, but generally needs the ball in his hands to be fantasy viable, and that won't happen much on this Cleveland team.

Dellavedova (knee) did some 3-on-3 work at Monday's practice and could return as early as this weekend, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Dellavedova has missed 12 games with a sprained MCL, but it appears a return is not far off. Coach David Blatt intimated that Dellavedova could return during the Cavs' upcoming three-game road swing, which begins Thursday in New York. While a return for that game may be a bit optimistic, it's more realistic to think Dellavedova could play Friday in Toronto or Monday in Brooklyn. The team parted ways with Will Cherry and brought in A.J. Price over the weekend, so when he returns, Dellavedova will compete with Price for reserve point guard minutes.

Dellavedova (knee) is currently without a timetable for return, the Akron Bacon Journal reports. Dellavedova sprained his MCL at the beginning of November and was originally given a six week timetable for return. That would make him available in early December, although the Cavaliers have since revoked that initial return date. Until further news is released from Cleveland, consider Dellavedova out for the time being.

Dellavedova has been diagnosed with a sprained MCL, and could miss up to six weeks, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Dellavedova was ruled out for the remainder of the Cavs' current road trip earlier Wednesday evening, but this new report clearly extends that projected absence. Although there isn't typically many minutes behind Kyrie Irving in Cleveland, the injury could mean more ball handling time for Dion Waiters. Will Cherry could also see some point guard reps in a pinch.

Dellavedova (knee) will not play for the remainder of the Cavs' current road trip, Chris Haynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Dellavedova injured his knee Tuesday evening, and the ailment will keep him out both Wednesday against the Jazz and Friday against the Nuggets. He'll be reevaluated upon returning to Cleveland, at which point coach David Blatt should have enough information to provide a timetable for return. Dion Waiters could see increased ball-handling duty behind Kyrie Irving for the duration of Dellavedova's absence, with Mike Miller and James Jones both candidates for extra reps in the Cleveland backcourt.

Dellavedova will not play in Wednesday's game against the Jazz due to a left knee injury. Dellavedova exited Tuesday's game in Portland during the fourth quarter after injuring his knee, which will sideline him for the second game of Cleveland's current back-to-back set Wednesday. According to the Cavs' press release, Dellavedova's status will be updated as appropriate moving forward. With Dellavedova out versus the Jazz, Dion Waiters will probably assume more ball handling duties than usual Wednesday.

Matthew Dellavedova put up a double-double thanks to garbage time during an easy 122-100 win over the Pistons on Wednesday, scoring 14 points with four boards, 12 assists, one steal and four 3-pointers. The Cavs were smoking in the first half with 69 points and they played some team ball. In fact, 26 of their 30 buckets came via an assist. They kept it up in the second half to finish with 41, which obliterated their previous season high of 32 as a team. As for Dellavedova, this outburst can be ignored for the most part.

Matt Dellavedova played 36 minutes off the bench and hit 7-of-9 shots and five 3-pointers on his way to a career-high 21 points, six assists and a steal in Wednesday's big comeback win over the Pistons. Dellavedova was instrumental in the comeback tonight, but it's important to remember he didn't even score in his previous game, and had nine points in the one prior to that. He's getting minutes and is worth a deep-league look, but Dion Waiters and Jarrett Jack are the guys you generally want to own right now.

Matthew Dellavedova logged the first double-double of his career on Thursday vs. the Thunder with 11 points, 10 assists, four boards, one steal and two 3-pointers in 33 minutes. In one of the more lopsided defensive matchups,he was matched up against Kevin Durant with Alonzo Gee getting into some early foul trouble. That allowed his minutes to jump up a bit tonight and forced coach Mike Brown to tweak his rotation. Dellavedova does have a 41-minute game on his resume this season, but he's going to have a tough time seeing a big enough role while Jarrett Jack and Dion Waiters are healthy. He's certainly on the radar for owners in deeper leagues looking for a point guard.

Matthew Dellavedova played through an ankle injury on Tuesday and had five points, three rebounds and six assists in 23 minutes. He doesn't have fantasy value right now, but was a little iffy coming into this one. However, if Dion Waiters ends up missing time with a hip injury, Dellavedova could actually find himself in the starting lineup for the Cavs.
