Thomas (lower leg) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas landed on the injury report Tuesday due to a lower-leg contusion. However, he hasn't appeared in a game since March 21, so his availability shouldn't impact Chicago's rotation.

Thomas is questionable for Tuesday's contest against the Bucks due to a lower-leg contusion.

Thomas amassed five points (2-10 FG, 1-7 3Pt), six rebounds and one assist over 34 minutes during Sunday's 119-108 loss to the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
With Zach LaVine (back) and Coby White (groin) sidelined, Thomas played a season-high 34 minutes off the bench, but the 38.8 percent three-point shooter struggled to find the bottom of the net. As long as the aforementioned guards remain sidelined, Thomas figures to garner a major role in Billy Donovan's rotation, though it's unlikely he'll be able to sustain consistent fantasy production.

Thomas finished Friday's 138-96 loss to the Warriors with six points (2-7 FG, 2-6 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists and one steal across 18 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas has had fairly minimal playing time recently, but he saw an uptick in minutes during Friday's blowout loss since Zach LaVine (knee) exited the game early. He wasn't very efficient from the floor in the defeat but could continue to see increased run Saturday against the Celtics since LaVine will be unavailable.

Thomas (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) provided five points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and two assists in 19 minutes off the bench Sunday in the Bulls' 113-105 win over the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
Among the many Bulls who entered the health and safety protocols this month, Thomas was inactive for the longest period of time. He was first placed in the protocols Dec. 8 and wasn't fully cleared until more than two weeks later. After regaining conditioning in practice, Thomas made a successful return to action Sunday while tying his season high in minutes. Thomas hasn't been a regular member of the rotation when Chicago is at full strength, so he'll be a prime candidate to lose minutes as soon as the Bulls get one of Derrick Jones (hamstring), Alex Caruso (foot) or Lonzo Ball (health and safety protocols) back in the fold.

Thomas cleared the league's health and safety protocols Thursday, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas was unavailable for each of the last four games, but he was cleared to return to practice Thursday. He'll likely be available for Sunday's game against Indiana, but he hasn't been a consistent part of the Bulls' rotation.

Thomas (COVID-19 protocols) is listed as doubtful for Wednesday's game against Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
The expectation is that Thomas will remain out through Christmas, but the Bulls are listing him as doubtful anyway. The Bulls will likely play Wednesday's game extremely shorthanded before hopefully getting several regulars back Sunday against Indiana or Monday against Altanta.

Thomas will not play Monday against the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas remains in the league's health and safety protocols, where he's been since all the way back on Dec. 8. Based on the timeline, Chicago should expect to get the sharpshooter back in the near future, but he's apparently yet to return the negative tests necessary to be cleared. Consider Thomas day-to-day as Wednesday's game against Toronto approaches.

Thomas (COVID-19 protocols) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas was doubtful ahead of Sunday's matchup, so his status doesn't come as a major surprise. His absence shouldn't impact Chicago's rotation.
