Bonner will start for the Spurs on Monday in place of Boris Diaw, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports. Bonner is ultimately getting the start for the injured Tiago Splitter (calf/back). However, Bonner is averaging just 2.5 points and 1.5 rebounds this season in the only two games that he's seen action. Because of this, it'd be unexpected if he mounted significant production despite getting the start Monday.

Bonner did not get into Friday's game against the Suns after starting in the season opener. Bonner played 15 minutes in Tuesday's opener against the Mavericks, but finished the game with two rebounds and no points. Austin Daye started in his place Friday, but had his own offensive problems, scoring just six points (2-7 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 0-0 FT). Jeff Ayres and Aron Baynes also both saw time off the bench.

Bonner will get the start at center Tuesday, Project Spurs' Paul Garcia reports. Tiago Splitter is out with calf and back injuries, and does not have a timetable to return, although he isn't expected to miss significant time. Bonner likely won't play true starter's minutes Tuesday, and is a high-risk, low-reward play in daily leagues, despite his status as a starter.

Spurs sign F/C Matt Bonner. It's reportedly at the minimum and it would be hard to imagine him in any other uniform. Bonner has been with the Spurs since 2006, but his minutes dropped to a career-low 11.3 minutes per game last season.

Matt Bonner has reportedly agreed to re-sign with the Spurs on a one-year deal at the veteran's minimum. Spurs beat writer Mike Monroe has confirmed an initial report by Ben Hunt, and fan-favorite Bonner will remain with San Antonio for at least the 2014-15 season. His deadly 3-point shooting gives Gregg Popovich a unique weapon off the bench, but Bonner doesn't have a big enough role to warrant owning in fantasy leagues.

Updating a previous item, Matt Bonner will start for the second consecutive game on Saturday. Welcome to the Gregg Popovich lineup carousel. Tiago Splitter was listed as a starter, but Pop pulled a fast one, which is nothing new. Boris Diaw started the second half in Game 5 and figures to be a factor yet again.

Matt Bonner will start in place of Tiago Splitter on Thursday night for Game 5. He played just 16 minutes in Games 1, 2 and 3, but then played 16 minutes in Game 4 due to garbage time. Bonner is being brought in to space the floor with his 3-point shooting. He shot 42.9 percent from deep in the regular season and the Thunder will probably just stick Kendrick Perkins on him.

Matt Bonner will not play against the Suns on Friday due to food poisoning. He probably would have received some minutes with Tim Duncan out, but the Spurs will be without the Red Rocket. Bonner has no fantasy value.

Matt Bonner (calf) will not play against the Warriors in Wednesday. He is expected to be out for another week or so and the Spurs won't be counting on him much upon his return. Bonner is fun to watch, but he doesn't have fantasy value.
