Marcus Camby (foot) will not play on Friday. Surprise, surprise. Although Mike Woodson said Camby had a chance to return on Friday, it was highly unrealistic to think it would actually happen. Camby remains "day-to-day" but has not played since January 10. He'll supposedly be ready to play the Heat, but we'll see about that.

Marcus Camby (foot) could return as soon as Friday. Camby has been out since early January due to a sprained plantar fascia. He participated in another scrimmage Tuesday and barring a setback, should be good for limited minutes Friday. Note that before going down, Camby was averaging just 10.6 minutes a night.

The good news is that the veteran said the pain has lessened, and Thursday was the two-week mark since he went down. Camby's initial timetable was 2-4 weeks, but it wouldn't be a surprise if he missed a little longer than that.
