Delaney tallied 17 points (6-11 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six assists and four rebounds in 27 minutes during a 103-101 loss to the Celtics on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Delaney's minutes have been steadily rising since the end of December. On Friday, he saw the most court time since December 23rd against the Nuggets, when he played 30 minutes. Delaney looks like he might be cracking the rotation now with back-to-back 10-plus point performances. He's worth keeping an eye on if you need an end-of-the-bench point guard.

Delaney scored 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and added three rebounds and one steal in 20 minutes during Wednesday's 111-92 win over the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
Delaney has now played at least 20 minutes in four of his last six games. Before that, he had only reached that barrier five times in 21 games. He's still not productive enough for any but the very deepest leagues, but the more minutes he gets, the more he'll have an opportunity to attract fantasy attention.

Delaney (ankle) played and tallied four points (2-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two assists and one steal across 13 minutes during a 107-99 loss to the Hornets on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Delaney was listed as questionable heading into the game, but played and contributed minimally over 13 minutes. Delaney's minutes have been consistent this season, at 16.7 per game, but his inability to consistently score limits his value.

Delaney is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Hornets due to a right ankle injury.
EDGE Analysis
Delaney tallied 10 points and four assists over 22 minutes in Friday's victory over the Raptors, but it appears he also suffered an ankle injury as well. Delaney's status for Saturday's contest figures to be determined shortly before game time.

Delaney dropped 13 points (3-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), one rebound, one assist, one steal, and one block across 22 minutes in the Hawks' 96-85 win over the Pacers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
It turned out that Delaney was much more effective on this night than starting point guard Dennis Schroder, who scored nine points (on three-for-11 shooting) to go along with twice as many turnovers (four) as assists (two) during his 25 minutes. As a result, Hawks' coach Mike Budenholzer afforded Delaney a career-high 22 minutes, and he did not disappoint, ultimately helping the Hawks halt a three-game losing streak. This was the second time in the last three games that the 27-year-old rookie has topped 20 minutes, but prior to this recent stretch he hadn't surpassed that threshold since the first two games of the season. Nevertheless, Delaney's role as the backup point guard behind Schroder seems fairly safe going forward.

Delaney scored eight points (3-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and added four assists, two rebounds and one steal across 20 minutes in Saturday's 104-72 win over the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
The Hawks' release of Jarrett Jack (knee) in training camp has opened up the top backup role at point guard for Delaney, a 27-year-old out of Virginia Tech who has played exclusively overseas since turning pro in 2011. While it's possible Atlanta could make a trade or signing at some point to address their lack of point guard depth, Delaney won't force the issue if he continues to provide coach Mike Budenholzer with effective minutes. While he won't see enough run or usage behind Dennis Schroder to stand out in the fantasy realm, Delaney has been quite solid in his two games, accumulating 12 points on 5-for-13 shooting to go with nine assists against just three turnovers.

Delaney will not play in Sunday's preseason game against the Magic, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
A specific reason was not given, but it could leave the Hawks a bit short-handed in the backcourt with Dennis Schroder (rest) also getting the night off. With that said, Will Bynum should play extended minutes at point guard, while Tim Hardaway could also potentially see time at the point as well if the Hawks don't have enough healthy bodies.

Delaney started at point guard and posted 13 points (4-6 FG, 5-5 FT), six assists, three rebounds and one steal across 24 minutes in Saturday's 102-91 preseason loss to the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
Regular starter Dennis Schroder (rest) sat out this contest and top backup Jarrett Jack remained out while he continues to rehab his surgically-repaired knee, so Delaney got the call to the top unit and responded with a steady outing. Though he'll be a rookie this season, Delaney possesses more high-level experience than most first-year players after spending the first five years of his career in Europe, where he was one of the continent's top players in 2015-16. With Jack uncertain to be ready for the start of the regular season, Delaney could settle in as Schroder's primary backup in the early going.
