Babbitt supplied 11 points (3-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one steal across 26 minutes during a 105-102 victory against the Warriors on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Babbitt had one of his better games as he scored in double figures for just the fifth time this season and secured a season-high six boards in the win. Monday's game marked the fifth time this season he has knocked down at least three three-pointers. He will continue to get a heavier workload while Tyler Johnson (shoulder) and Josh Richardson (foot) remain sidelined.

Babbitt posted 16 points (6-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt) to go along with four rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots in Friday's 116-108 setback against the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
Babbitt's playing time and shooting performances have been rather erratic lately, and this was his first multi-point effort since Nov. 30. Don't put too much stock into Friday's efficient showing from the field. For now, he is only worth using in the deepest of fantasy leagues and for help in the 3-pointer category in rotisserie formats.

Babbitt (illness) will be available to play in Tuesday's matchup against the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
Babbitt, who missed the Heat's previous game due to an illness, will return to action against the Warriors. He had started the previous six games prior to missing the team's last contest, and will presumably return to that role. However, he only averaged 17.0 minutes per game during those starts.

Babbitt (illness) returned to practice Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Babbitt missed Sunday's game against the Clippers due to illness, but his return to practice implies that he'll be able to return to game action Tuesday against Golden State. Assuming that's the case, Babbitt could return to the starting lineup, although his minutes have been capped in the low-20s for most of the year.

Babbitt (illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Clippers, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Babbitt is dealing with a case of the flu, so expect Derrick Williams and potentially James Johnson to see increased roles in the Heat's frontcourt Sunday. Babbitt's next opportunity to return will come Tuesday against the Warriors.

Babbitt recorded seven points (3-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT) and five rebounds across 23 minutes in a 99-90 loss to the Suns on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Babbitt has taken over as the Heat's starting power forward the last four games, but even with only eight active players Tuesday, coach Erik Spoelstra was reluctant to bump up the 27-year-old's playing time much. He's now averaging just 6.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 19.3 minutes per game over the four starts and can probably be avoided in the majority of leagues while he continues to share time with James Johnson and Derrick Williams at the position.

Babbitt will start at power forward for Thursday's game against the Hornets, Anthony Chiang of the Palm Beach Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Josh McRoberts (foot) ruled out indefinitely, the Heat are again experimenting with different options at power forward. On Tuesday against the the Thunder, Derrick Williams was in the starting lineup, but logged just 15 minutes. Babbitt didn't even see the court in that outing, but will now get his turn with the top unit. Despite Babbitt likely seeing increased playing time Thursday, there's too much uncertainty in regards to what role each guy will play, so this is likely a situation to avoid until a more defined approach is established.

Babbitt (coach's decision) didn't play in Monday's 112-101 win over the Wizards.
EDGE Analysis
Babbitt had missed the Heat's previous five games with a hip injury, but was given the green light to play Monday. However, coach Erik Spoelstra didn't call his number off the bench, which perhaps indicates Babbitt won't be included in the Heat's rotation right away. Babbitt is only averaging 4.2 points in 15.9 minutes per game on the season, so even if he eventually rejoins the rotation, he's unlikely to be in line for significant playing time.

Babbitt (hip) will warm up with the intention of playing in Monday's contest with the Wizards, Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Babbitt has dealt with a hip injury, which kept him out of the Heat's last five games. He was able to go through shootaround earlier Monday without any issues and plans to take the court for warmups as if he was slated to play. That said, Babbitt is fully expected to be available Monday, barring any last second setbacks to the hip. Babbitt has averaged 15.9 minutes per game this season, but will likely need earn a larger role to become a more relevant fantasy option in most leagues.

Babbitt (hip) remains a game-time call for Monday's matchup with the Wizards, but was able to go through the team's morning shootaround.
EDGE Analysis
Babbitt's participation in shootaround is a big step in the right direction and provides further optimism that he'll be cleared to take the court Monday after a five-game absence. That said, with James Johnson (shoulder) also on the brink of a return and guys like Josh McRoberts and Derrick Williams getting time at power forward, it's a situation that may not prove fruitful for fantasy owners, so Babbitt can still be avoided for the time being until we get a clearer indication of his role moving forward.
