Datome, traded from the Pistons to the Celtics in late February, got to see slightly more playing with Boston. He averaged 10 minutes, 4.9 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.9 made threes in 20 games with the Celtics. Gigi, as a restricted free agent, can accept Boston's qualifying offer of $2.275 million for next season or return to playing ball in Europe. Should he stay with Boston, expect his minutes and statistical output to remain minimal.

Datome never left the bench in Tuesday's Game 2 loss at Cleveland. That's one minute of play in two playoff games. Avoid Datome in all game formats.

Datome started for Avery Bradley (quad) and scored a career-high 22 points (9-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT) in 27 minutes in the win over Milwaukee on Wednesday. Datome had not scored in double digits since Mar. 29. He came through in a meaningless games, but will likely grab the bench in the playoffs against the Cavaliers.

Datome will get the start Wednesday against the Bucks, Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald reports. Avery Bradley is being held out with a quad injury, so Datome will enter the starting lineup in his place. The Italian has played only 15 combined minutes over the last two games, but he should see a significant uptick with the Celtics locked into the seventh seed.

Datome scored a season high 10 points in Sunday's loss at Orlando. Gigi has seen very limited minutes in both Detroit and Boston this season. With the Celtics, he's averaged only 2.9 minutes per game over 10 games. Sunday evening he squeaked in 10 points over four of five shooting (including two treys) during 10 minutes of play. With Kelly Olynyk returning, expect Datome to return to his end-of-bench seat next to Gerald Wallace.

Datome saw just four minutes off the bench during Wednesday's game against the Knicks. Datome was traded to the Celtics earlier in February but is not in line to see many minutes off the bench in Boston under coach Brad Stevens. As it stands the 27-year-old is stuck on the bench for the remainder of the season unless something unforeseeable happens.

Datome will be available for Sunday's game against the Lakers.Datome is available for his Celtics debut Sunday, although that doesn't guarantee that he'll actually see time on the court against the Lakers. The 27-year-old is not expected to see significant run in Boston as coach Brad Stevens has numerous options at the small forward position.

Datome was dealt to the Celtics on Thursday.In order to reunite Tayshaun Prince with the Pistons, Datome and Jonas Jerebko were shipped to Boston. Datome has appeared in a mere three outings this season, averaging 3.7 points (on 42 percent shooting) and 1.3 rebounds in six minutes. Upon joining the Celtics, he'll supply a depth option to the wing.

Datome was recalled from Grand Rapids of the D-League on Tuesday. Datome has seen time in only one game this season, and there have been rumblings that Detroit may be looking to deal the 27-year-old. Whether that's true or not, Datome has extremely minimal fantasy value.

Datome was sent to Grand Rapids of the D-League on Wednesday. Datome will join the Drive for the first time this season and will have an opportunity to play in the D-League Showcase, which begins Thursday. It could be an audition for Datome, as the Pistons are believed to be open to trading the second-year swingman.
