Even more disappointing is the lack of opportunities, where in 29 minutes of play Nance only put up two shots, and is averaging just 3.7 attempts per game over the last four contests. Other than the double-digit rebounds, this was a rather lackluster performance from Nance.

Nance accrued three points (1-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist in a blowout loss to the 76ers on Saturday.

EDGE Analysis

It has been an underwhelming year compared to expectations for Nance, who's seeing a career-low field-goal percentage, and producing about half the amount of assists he put up last season in similar minutes. His career-high 10.1 points and 1.2 threes per game are helping to keep his value afloat in standard leagues. If Nance can get his field-goal percentage and assists a little higher, his value would obviously trend in the right direction. In addition, Kevin Love has recently showed up in trade rumors, with at least three teams showing interest. If Love gets shipped out, there's a chance that Nance sees his 26.3 minutes per game increase.

Nance will come off the bench Saturday against the 76ers, Rich Hofmann of The Athletic reports.

Kevin Love didn't see a full workload in his first game back after missing two contests with a back injury, and if the issue lingers for Love, Nance will continue to fill a significant role in the Cavs' frontcourt.

Nance collected 20 points (8-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 33 minutes during Monday's 108-106 loss to the Nets.

Nance drew a second straight start in place of Kevin Love (back) and filled up the stat sheet, hauling in a season-high 13 boards while sinking two threes for the third time in the last four games. Furthermore, Nance has reached double figures in scoring in four of the last five games after doing so in just three of his first 10 appearances this season.
