Landry Fields had eight points, 11 boards and three assists in 28 minutes on Wednesday. He had a wasted season in Toronto and could be in for more of the same next year, as DeMar DeRozan and Rudy Gay will keep him glued to the bench on most nights.

Landry Field (strep throat) is back for the Raptors to play against the Nets on Sunday. He missed the last two games and he's probably not going to be a big factor in today's game. Fields has played just 14.8 minutes per game in his last four games and has minimal fantasy value.

Landry Fields (strep throat) returned to practice on Saturday. He did not play on Friday due to an illness and also sat out on Tuesday for other reasons. Fields' three-year, $19 million contract from this past offseason seems to make less sense every day that goes by.

Landry Fields (strep throat) will not play in Friday's game against the Bulls. Fields would have had a chance for minutes thanks to Terrence Ross' ankle sprain, but he's too sick to go. Fields is averaging just 17.5 minutes per game since the All-Star break.

Landry Fields (elbow) returned to action on Wednesday, scoring three points with three rebounds in 17 minutes. Fields has been a non-factor in fantasy leagues this season and there is no reason to believe that this will change.

Landry Fields' elbow checked out after Monday's follow-up appointment and he's expected to return to the lineup on Wednesday against the Wizards. There was a concern that Fields could miss the remainder of the season after having issues with his surgically-repaired elbow, but it checked out just fine and Fields will dress on Wednesday.

Landry Fields will not play on Monday as he seeks follow-up care on his surgically-repaired elbow. It sounds like Fields is having some discomfort, as he's headed to California for a checkup with specialist. He hasn't been returning fantasy value with Rudy Gay healthy anyway, so this shouldn't impact active fantasy lineups.

Landry Fields will work with shooting coach John Townsend to "rebuild his shooting stroke." Fields will work with Townsend "extensively," and it's probably a good idea since Fields has been nothing short of awful in his first season with the Raptors. He's averaging 4.9 points and 4.0 rebounds on 45.7 percent shooting, but he's shooting a pathetic 14.3 percent from distance and that is unacceptable for someone with a career mark of 33.6 percent from behind the 3-point line.

Landry Fields will start in Friday's game against the Knicks. Fields has started in two other games against the Knicks, but he isn't really worth using in fantasy leagues and one look at his game log will explain why.
