The Raptors and RFA Landry Fields have agreed to a three-year contract, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. Stein reports that the offer is likely to spike in year three like Omer Asik's offer sheet with the Rockets, and if that's the case, the Knicks will have a tough time matching that deal. Stein also reports that the deal is around $20 million. As for that ridiculous sign-and-trade scenario involving Fields being sent to Phoenix to net Steve Nash, it's safe to say that's off the table.

The Knicks have extended a qualifying contract offer to Landry Fields, making him a restricted free agent. New York has previously said that they plan to retain Fields, but there is a chance he could land elsewhere. The team certainly won't overpay for his services and he could draw interest from a number of teams looking for a swingman.

The Knicks sound determined to retain Landry Fields, who is a restricted free agent. Baron Davis (knee) won't play next year and Iman Shumpert (knee) could miss the first two months of the season, which leaves New York with just one healthy guard under contract -- Toney Douglas. J.R. Smith could pick up his player option, but the guard-starved Knicks are expected to match any reasonable offers for Fields and Jeremy Lin.

The Golden State Warriors could go after Landry Fields this offseason if the Knicks decide to let him walk via free agency. The Warriors really liked Fields coming out of the draft and he has ties to the area from his days at Stanford. If the Warriors lose Brandon Rush and/or decide to trade Dorell Wright, they could turn to Fields as an replacement option. Landry Fields has been marginalized in New York ever since the Knicks acquired Carmelo Anthony.

Landry Fields will start at shooting guard in Monday's Game 2 against the Heat. Fields takes the place of Iman Shumpert (torn ACL). It's a major downgrade for the Knicks defensively as they try to match up with Dwyane Wade and LeBron James on the wings.

With Tyson Chandler (rest) out, Landry Field was inserted into the starting lineup on Sunday and responded with 18 points on 7-of-8 shooting with four rebounds and three 3s. Without their starting center, the Knicks decided to play some small-ball and it worked out well. Today was the best Fields has looked in quite some time, but he will only have fantasy value if some of the Knicks key players sit out next week.

Landry Fields will come off the bench for the Knicks on Friday. Amar'e Stoudemire's (back) returns sends Fields to the bench. Fields has really struggled in April, with averages of 7.6 points and 1.1 steals on just 40.9 percent shooting. Iman Shumpert will remain in the starting lineup alongside Baron Davis in the backcourt.

Landry Fields scored four points on 2-of-7 shooting with seven rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocks in 32 minutes on Friday against the Wizards. Fields had a nice line on Wednesday, and benefited a bit from the early exit of Iman Shumpert. He has provided borderline value over the past week or so, so give him a look if you need a wing.

Landry Fields hit 5-of-8 shots for 15 points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals, a block and two 3-pointers in Tuesday's loss. This is one of Fields' better games in recent memory, but it's also worth noting that Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith struggled. We'd still rather own Shumpert or Smith over Fields for now. Smith finished with 11 points and nine rebounds on 3-of-11 shooting, and played 29 minutes in the loss, while Shumpert had five points and nothing else for the night.

Landry Fields' struggles continued on Friday against the Hawks, as he scored seven points on 3-of-4 shooting with two rebounds and two assists in 27 minutes. Fields is starting and the Knicks are hurting, so he has a Lloyd Christmas chance at providing value in fantasy leagues down the stretch. But he profiles pretty poorly next to iso-Melo, and his best hope is likely for buddy Jeremy Lin to return, as the floor opens up a bit and the pace quickens.
