This news is coming out of left field, as Lowry was not on the injury report heading into the evening. However, the injury does not sound like it is anything serious, rather the Raptors simply being cautious with their start point guard prior to the playoffs. It is unclear who will start in Lowry's place, but expect Cory Joseph to see much heavier usage than he normally receives. Lowry's next opportunity to return to action will be Friday against the Rockets.

Lowry scored a game-high 32 points (9-14 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 9-14 FT) while adding five assists, four rebounds, two steals and a block in 37 minutes during Friday's win over the Celtics.

EDGE Analysis

The point guard celebrated a big opening-round win in the NCAA tournament by his alma mater, Villanova, with an impressive showing of his own, and Lowry has now scored 25 or more points in four straight games as the Raptors inch closer to locking up a playoff spot. He's in position for another productive performance Sunday when the Raptors host the Magic.

Lowry scored 28 points (8-21 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 8-9 FT) to go with eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals over 43 minutes in a 101-94 victory over the Pacers on Thursday.

EDGE Analysis

Lowry combined with DeMar DeRozan for 56 points in Thursday's overtime win, landing four three-pointers for the second straight game. Lowry's landmark season has continued, as the two-time All-Star has averaged 24.6 points with 6.7 assists, 2.1 steals, and 5.3 rebounds through the month of March. Lowry won't receive a day off after his heavy 43-minute workload, taking on the Celtics at home Friday.

Lowry totaled 25 points (5-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 11-13 FT), 11 assists, and four rebounds in 28 minutes during the Raptors' 107-89 victory versus the Bucks on Tuesday.

EDGE Analysis

Lowry needed only nine shots to score his 25 points, and he committed just two turnovers as well. In terms of efficiency, it doesn't get much better than this performance, which also came on the second night of a back-to-back. Continue to roll with Lowry regardless of fantasy format, as he is playing the best basketball of his career in 2015-16.

Lowry scored a game-high 33 points (10-20 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 11-13 FT) with 11 rebounds, seven assists and three steals during 41 minutes in Monday's 109-107 loss to the Bulls.

EDGE Analysis

Lowry was on triple-double watch early in this one but wasn't able to find the last remaining assists. He was however able to torch the Bulls banged up backcourt that was missing Derrick Rose, scoring his highest point total in seven games in March. Lowry has also hit at least two three-pointers in six of his last seven games.

Lowry scored 19 points (6-14 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 6-8 FT) to go with seven assists, two steals, and a rebound over 38 minutes in a 104-96 victory over the Hawks on Thursday.

EDGE Analysis

Thursday's outing snapped a streak of three-point efficiency from Lowry. Having shot 50 percent from beyond the arc in the four games leading up to Thursday, Lowry's 1-of-8 three-point output led to just his second sub-20 point game since Feb. 21. Nevertheless, Lowry is still averaging an impressive 23.8 points for the month of March; the two-time All-Star will have a night off before taking on the Heat on Saturday.

Lowry scored 23 points (7-16 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 5-9 FT) while dishing out nine assists and pulling down four rebounds over 42 minutes in Tuesday's 104-99 win against the Nets.

EDGE Analysis

It was the second straight game that Lowry posted nine assists and hit four three-pointers as the Raptors floor general went to work with a great matchup. Lowry still needs to limit turnovers a bit, but his averages over the last four games have been 25.0 points, 7.3 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 2.3 steals.

Lowry scored 28 points (8-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 9-15 FT) while adding six assists, five rebounds and two steals in 37 minutes during Friday's win over the Trail Blazers.

EDGE Analysis

In a battle of arguably the league's two most potent backcourts, Lowry and DeMar DeRozan got out-scored by Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum 74-66, but neither Raptor will be complaining. Since getting a night off at the end of February to rest, Lowry has kicked off March by averaging 30.0 points, 5.5 assists, 4.5 boards, 3.0 threes and 2.5 steals over the first two games.

Lowry recorded 32 points (13-20 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five assists, four rebounds, three steals, and one block in 40 minutes during the Raptors' 104-94 win against the Jazz on Wednesday.

EDGE Analysis

Lowry did commit five turnovers. However, this was his sixth performance with 30 points or more this season, eclipsing his previous career high of five in a campaign that he set in 2014-15. Over the last four games, Lowry is averaging an incredible 29.5 points on 61 percent shooting to go with 7.8 assists, 5.8 rebounds, two steals, and 0.3 blocks in 39 minutes per appearance.

Lowry is expected to start at point guard Wednesday against the Jazz.

EDGE Analysis

This is just an FYI after Lowry was held out of the Raptors' previous game Sunday against the Pistons solely for rest purposes. Lowry closed out February with averages of 23.6 points, 6.9 assists, 4.4 rebounds, 2.7 three-pointers, and 1.7 steals while shooting 50.3 percent from the floor in 10 games, and scored a season-high 43 points in his most recent appearance Feb. 26 against the Cavaliers.
