Lowry hit just 5-of-14 from the field Sunday but still managed to contribute across the board in what was a hard-fought victory. He has struggled with his shooting for some time with the last time he shot at least 50 percent coming back on December 13. Poor shooting aside, he has been contributing in every other category and has generally rewarded those who drafted him as low as the third round.

Lowry produced 20 points (6-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven assists, five rebounds and one block across 37 minutes in Wednesday's 110-106 loss to the Pacers.

Wednesday night marked Lowry's first 20-point game since returning from his brief injury absence at the end of 2018. His three-point efforts (seven threes made in the last two games) are certainly appreciated with the large roster the Raptors deploy and Kawhi Leonard being out to rest.

The Raptors initially planned to hold Lowry out for rest in the second half of the back-to-back set, but the point guard apparently talked his way into playing. It's a good thing he did, as the Raptors needed every bit of his production to hold off the lowly Suns in the narrow win. Though he flirted with a triple-double, Lowry's poor shooting since returning from a back injury Jan. 6 continues to restrict his fantasy utility. He's converting at a 32.3 percent clip from the field and 25.6 percent clip from three-point range over the past six games, dropping his season-long marks to 41.6 and 31.3 percent, respectively.

Contrary to a previous report, Lowry (rest) will play Thursday against the Suns, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.

EDGE Analysis

It was originally thought that Lowry would be rested for the second half of the team's back-to-back, but he's available after playing 34 minutes in Wednesday's loss to Boston. Lowry is averaging 10.8 points, 8.0 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 2.2 steals in five games since returning from a back injury earlier in the month.

Lowry will not play in Thursday's game against the Suns for rest purposes, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.

The Raptors have not officially come out and said that they are resting Lowry on back-to-backs, but this is also the first one the point guard has faced since returning from the back injury.
