We'll know more after shootaround in the morning, but for now Anderson is a fairly risky start in weekly lineup formats, as he could end up playing only four games during the extended Week 11 period if he's ultimately held out of Tuesday's contest. Anderson struggled from the field in Sunday's rout of the Rockets, finishing with 13 points on 4-of-14 shooting, including 0-of-7 from beyond the arc.

Anderson recorded 13 points (5-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-4 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and one steal Thursday in a 122-94 home win against the Clippers.

EDGE Analysis

Anderson was the only Grizzlies player to log a stat line with at least 10 points, six rebounds and five assists. He has proven to be an adequate option in place of Jaren Jackson (knee) by averaging career highs of 13.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists. Anderson's output may derail once Jackson returns, but his productivity level has commanded earned attention from his coach and fantasy owners.

Anderson is out for rest Saturday against the Suns.

On the second half of a back-to-back set, Anderson will get the night off to let his body recover. He's part of an extensive Grizzlies injury report that includes a good chunk of the team's key players. That could result in deep bench options getting more action. Desmond Bane, John Konchar and Sean McDermott are among those who could see a bump in minutes.

Anderson compiled 16 points (5-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds and an assist across 25 minutes in Friday's 109-95 win over the Pistons.

After a sub-par game against the Lakers, Anderson has put together a considerable four-game run. averaging 18 points and 5,8 rebounds over that span.

Anderson went through a rough stretch between Jan. 5 and Feb. 6, averaging just 10.5 points per game, though his shooting figures in that stretch were quite decent -- 44.2 percent from the field and 41 percent from deep -- so he was primed for a bounce-back stretch. Such has been the case of late, as Anderson has now scored 15 or more points in four of his last five appearances. The UCLA product is also hitting 54.1 percent from deep during that five-game stretch.

Anderson tallied 17 points (6-9 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, four assists, four steals and a blocked shot across 29 minutes in Sunday's 124-110 win over the Kings.

Anderson did a little bit of everything in the win and could have generated more if the game had been closer. The forward suffered through a tough stretch last month that could have put his starting role in jeopardy, but he's strung together a nice five-game run. Even though he only scored six points against the Lakers within that stretch, he provided excellent production in the secondary categories. Over the last five games, Anderson is averaging 17.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.2 blocks.

Anderson notched 27 points (10-14 FG, 6-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three assists, two rebounds and a block across 24 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Hornets.

EDGE Analysis

Anderson posted his second-best scoring output of the season and his fourth game with at least 20 points, but he also accomplished that by displaying an accurate touch from the field that included draining a season-high six three-pointers. Anderson has now scored 15 or more points in his last three games, surpassing the aforementioned 20-point plateau twice. It's only the third time this season he's been able to record three or more straight games with double-digit scoring figures.

A day after one of the worst games of his career, Anderson rebounded in a big way, filling up his stat line in the narrow loss. It was a night of opposites after Friday's performance, as he shot 61.5 percent from the floor and drilled three 3-pointers in the contest.

Anderson recorded three points (0-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, three steals and a blocked shot across 23 minutes in Thursday's 115-103 loss to the Rockets.

Anderson's points came solely from the charity stripe, and he posted one of the worst shooting performances of his seven-year career. Anderson's role in the starting lineup isn't in jeopardy in the short term, but there's a lot of talent on the depth chart that could affect the rotation, especially if the Grizzlies struggle down the stretch.
