Knox scored 17 points (7-14 FG, 3-4 3Pt) while adding six rebounds in 28 minutes off the bench during Friday's 1076-105 loss to the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
After some Opening Night jitters, Knox looked much more comfortable in the Knicks' second game of the season, out-scoring the entire rest of the team's second unit combined. The ninth overall pick in this year's draft figures to log heavy minutes off the bench at least until Kristaps Porzingis (knee) is back in action, giving him intriguing fantasy upside even without a starting role.

Knox shot his way to 10 points (4-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-3 FT), two steals, and one block in 23 minutes during Wednesday's 126-107 victory over the Hawks.
EDGE Analysis
Despite coming off the bench and playing just 23 minutes, Know was far from gun-shy in his season debut, hoisting 16 shots on his way to 10 points. The efficiency was a concern from all over the floor and his lack of supporting numbers highlight what could be a very one-dimensional fantasy game. The Knicks are likely not going to be playing for anything as the season progresses and should be in a position to give Knox plenty of run despite the poor shooting. Owners should not panic after this performance but should be prepared for a very bumpy ride.

Knox will come off the bench for Wednesday's season opener against Atlanta, Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Knox started all five preseason games and was widely expected to start at small forward, but coach David Fizdale announced Tuesday that he's changed his mind and will instead go with Frank Ntilikina at small forward. It's a rather bizarre decision, but Ntilikina does have more size than a typical guard, so it looks as though Fizdale is hoping to get multiple ball-handlers on the floor at once. Trey Burke will start at point guard, with Tim Hardaway, Jr. at the two.

Knox scored 12 points (6-19 FG, 0-5 3Pt) while adding 10 rebounds and two steals in 34 minutes during Friday's preseason win over the Pelicans.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie couldn't find his stroke from beyond the arc, but Knox made up for it with his second double-double of the preseason. With Kristaps Porzingis still lacking any sort of timetable for his recovery from February knee surgery, the Knicks seem to be preparing to lean heavily on the ninth overall pick in this year's draft, and Knox's fantasy outlook is rising accordingly.

Knox scored a team-high 13 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT) while adding 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals in 26 minutes during Monday's overtime win over the Wizards in preseason action.
EDGE Analysis
It was as good a debut as the Knicks could have hoped for from the ninth overall pick in this year's draft, even if it was only the preseason. Knox was the only New York starter to play more than 16 minutes, and he's likely to continue to see a big workload during the exhibition schedule as the coaching staff tries to accelerate his development. Knox has the potential to make a fantasy impact as a rookie if he sees starting minutes, but as yet it's not clear whether that will still be the case once the regular season begins.

Knox will pick up the start at small forward for Monday's preseason matchup against the Wizards, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Knox will be joined in the frontcourt by Lance Thomas and Enes Kanter, while Mario Hezonja is most notably coming off the bench. While this is simply a preseason lineup and doesn't mean a whole lot in the grand scheme of things, it's at least encouraging that the rookie is getting the first look in the top unit. Look for Knox to see significant minutes Monday and if he plays well throughout the preseason, there's a chance he's able to lock up a starting job by the start of the regular season. It is worth it to note that Courtney Lee (neck), who will also battle for the starting small forward job, is sitting out with injury.

Knox could compete for a starting spot after coach David Fizdale said Tuesday that all five positions will be an open competition, Ian Begley of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Fizdale could just be spewing the typical training camp coach-speak, the Knicks' rotation is among the most unsettled in the league heading into the season. Enes Kanter seems like a safe bet to start at center, but with Kristaps Porzingis (knee) out indefinitely, the remaining four spots could very well be up for grabs. Coming off of an impressive showing at the Las Vegas Summer League, Knox will compete for minutes at both forward spots, primarily battling Mario Hezonja, Courtney Lee and Lance Thomas for starts.

Knox is getting Friday's summer league consolation bracket finale against the Pelicans off for rest, Marc Berman of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The ninth overall pick in this year's draft, Knox has been a high-usage player throughout summer league, and will watch the finale from the sidelines. The 6-foot-9 forward, who could start for the Knicks as a rookie, has been flashing his potential, averaging 21.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steal across 32.2 minutes in four games.

Knox finished with 15 points (5-20 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds and three assists across 34 minutes during Thursday's 82-75 summer league loss to the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
Knox put together a solid point total, but struggled with efficiency and committed five turnovers to his three assists. Still, excitement surrounds the ninth overall pick in this year's draft, as he's totaled 85 points and 26 rebounds across four summer league outings. He should play a significant role on the Knicks as a rookie.

Knox had 29 points (9-22 FG, 5-7 3PT, 6-6 FT) in Tuesday's summer league win over the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
While the Knicks ultimately lost the game, Knox was the biggest story of the night, as he's strung together three very impressive contests heading into tournament play. The No. 9 overall pick also added 29 points, nine rebounds and two assists, though he did turn the ball over seven times.
