Randle intends to sign a three-year, $100 million deal with the Timberwolves, Shams Charania of ESPN reports Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Randle is set to return to the Timberwolves on a long-term pact after being traded to the club prior to the 2024-25 campaign. The three-time All-Star delivered a productive first season in Minnesota, averaging 18.7 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.7 assists while shooting 48.5 percent from the field across 32.3 minutes per game in 69 regular-season outings. His contract includes a player option for the 2027-28 season.

Randle finished Wednesday's 124-94 loss to the Thunder in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals with 24 points (8-14 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal across 31 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Randle led the Timberwolves in scoring during the team's blowout loss, which put an end to their playoff run. However, the 30-year-old forward had an up-and-down series against Oklahoma City, as he failed to score double-digit points in two of the five games. Randle averaged 18.7 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 32.3 minutes across 69 regular-season appearances in his first year in Minnesota. He now has a $30.94 million player option for the 2025-26 season.

Randle ended Saturday's 143-101 victory over the Thunder in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals with 24 points (9-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds and three assists across 30 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Randle was one of the players singled out in the Timberwolves' first two losses in Oklahoma City, but the veteran forward responded with an excellent showing in this victory. He was the clear-cut second-best player on the floor Saturday behind Anthony Edwards, and the Timberwolves will need Randle to be at his best if they want to even the series up Monday before returning to OKC for Game 5 on Wednesday.

Randle registered 28 points (9-13 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal across 36 minutes during Tuesday's 114-88 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.
EDGE Analysis
Randle continued his impressive postseason, tallying at least 20 points for the fifth straight game. However, his playmaking took a major step back. After averaging 7.4 assists during the Western Conference Semifinals, Randle recorded only one dime against the Thunder. Win or lose, Randle has proven himself on the biggest stage, providing the Timberwolves with a consistent scoring threat alongside Anthony Edwards. Minnesota also lost Game 1 against the Warriors before winning the following four games, likely providing them with confidence despite Tuesday's loss.

Randle ended Monday's 117-110 win over the Warriors in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals with 31 points (11-21 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 41 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Randle continued his strong postseason, scoring a game-high 31 points as the Timberwolves took control of the series. While Anthony Edwards typically attracts all the attention, Randle has been arguably Minnesota's best player thus far. He has now scored at least 20 points in seven of his past eight games and will look to continue his recent form in Game 5 Wednesday.

Randle posted 24 points (10-23 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3.3 FT), 10 rebounds, 12 assists and three steals in 40 minutes in Game 3 against the Warriors on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Randle ended just three boards away from a triple-double in Game 2 of the series, and the star forward responded with a triple-double in this huge road win. Randle has been the best player for Minnesota in the series, and based on how things have happened, he should remain playing at a high level.

Randle logged 24 points (10-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds and 11 assists across 33 minutes during Thursday's 117-93 win over the Warriors in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
EDGE Analysis
Randle was outstanding as a point forward and got more involved in the playmaking department, as evidenced by his 11 assists, and he also ended just three boards shy of a triple-double. Even though Anthony Edwards should remain the Timberwolves' go-to option on offense throughout the playoffs, Randle is showing he can be a dependable weapon when called upon for duty. This was his best performance of the playoffs, and it came through at a moment when the Timberwolves needed him the most.

Randle supplied 18 points (4-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 10-10 FT), three rebounds and six assists over 31 minutes during Tuesday's 99-88 loss to the Warriors in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
EDGE Analysis
Randle didn't have his best shooting performance, but the fact that he went 10-for-10 from the charity stripe salvaged his fantasy performance a bit. The entire Timberwolves team struggled on offense, but Randle has a tough matchup on paper. At least he's been consistent on offense and scored over 15 points in his six playoff appearances so far.

Randle notched 23 points (8-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 6-7 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one steal across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 103-96 victory over the Lakers in Game 5 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
EDGE Analysis
The Lakers opted to play small-ball with Dorian Finney-Smith under the basket, leaving the door wide open for Randle and Rudy Gobert to have a field day in the paint. While Gobert was unstoppable, Randle also provided solid production around the rim and got the best of the Lakers' defense. Randle averaged 22.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.4 assists over the five-game series.

EDGE Analysis
The veteran forward topped 20 points for the third straight game as the Timberwolves moved to within one win of advancing to the second round. Randle is averaging 22.5 points, 5.3 boards, 4.5 assists, 2.5 threes and 0.8 steals in the series as Minnesota looks to punch its ticket to the Western Conference Semifinals on Wednesday.
