Josh Okogie Goes Through Shootaround rotoballer.com Mon 11/18/19 4:43 PM

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Josh Okogie (knee) was able to go through shootaround, but is listed as questionable for Monday's contest. Andrew Wiggins (illness) is sidelined, so Okogie has more low-end streaming appeal. However, Jarrett Culver and Jake Layman have been outplaying him, so they are better fantasy options for Monday.

Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard/small forward Josh Okogie has been ruled for Saturdays game against the Houston Rockets shortly before tip-off due to a sore left knee. Okogie had not previously picked up an injury designation, but he will now join Andrew Wiggins and Shabazz Napier on the bench. His absence means that Jarrett Culver will reap DFS benefits for those owners still able to slot him into their lineups. Okogies next chance to return to action comes Monday against Utah.

Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Josh Okogie may have been a rookie last year but he played defense like a veteran. Once Timberwolves coach Tom Thibodeau was replaced by Ryan Saunders on January 8, 2019, Okogie averaged 1.4 steals and .5 blocks per game. For steals that was 25th best in the league and the .5 blocks, a game was the sixth-best for shooting guards from January 8 to the end of the season. The unfortunate thing is Okogie isn't very good at offense having averaged just 8.6 ...

RotoBaller NBA Recap: Point Guards Rule The Day rotoballer.com Thu 1/31/19 11:20 AM

Fantasy basketball is inherently biased against pointguards. This is not a complaint; it is just reality due to the scoring system used in fantasy basketball with rebounds being worth so much more than anything else. Plus, players earn often extra points for producing a double-double and with rebounds easier to obtain than assists, it makes sense that the top fantasy earners are bigger guys who can do a little bit of everything. Consider that thereare 18 players who are currently averaging doubl[...]
