Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Josh Okogie may have been a rookie last year but he played defense like a veteran. Once Timberwolves coach Tom Thibodeau was replaced by Ryan Saunders on January 8, 2019, Okogie averaged 1.4 steals and .5 blocks per game. For steals that was 25th best in the league and the .5 blocks, a game was the sixth-best for shooting guards from January 8 to the end of the season.
