The Lakers have signed big man Josh McRoberts to a two-year contract believed to be worth $6.2 million. That sum represents the Lakers' entire "mini mid-level exception." McBob figures to fill the void left by Lamar Odom's departure -- L.A. doesn't have a very deep frontcourt at the moment, so he could play significant minutes and is worth watching closely in fantasy leagues.

F/C Josh McRoberts is reportedly on the verge of signing with the Lakers. McBob was very good at times for the Pacers last season (rebounds & threes) and would likely see a big role left by the exodus of Lamar Odom for the Lakers. Keep an eye on him and consider a possible flier for the last round of your draft.

The Grizzlies are interested in free agent big man Josh McRoberts. Memphis almost acquired McBob in a three-team trade last season, which would have sent O.J. Mayo to Indiana, and they still like him as an affordable way to add depth to their frontcourt. The Lakers are also interested, and he'll play a reserve role wherever he lands.

The Lakers are reportedly "keen" on free agent big man Josh McRoberts. Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak said his team needs a backup big man, as he doesn't expect to retain Joe Smith or Theo Ratliff. McBob, who is 25 years old, already said the Pacers don't seem to want him back.

Unrestricted free agent Josh McRoberts told Indianapolis radio host JMV on Thursday that he doesn't feel like the Pacers want him to return this season. McBob, an Indy native, had some nice games last season and is sure to be a solid role player for someone this year. However, it doesn't sound like he'll be staying home in Indiana for long.

Josh McRoberts will become a free agent this summer, and it's unclear whether the Pacers will try to re-sign him. McBob had an up-and-down season for Indiana, and he performed poorly in the playoffs, so they may not be too eager to bring him back. He's a mediocre rebounder and poor defender despite his athleticism, though at 24 years old he still has time to develop his game.
