Jackson (hip) will not play Friday versus the Rockets, Scott Bordow of The Arizona Republic
EDGE Analysis
Jackson presumably picked up the injury in Sunday's game against the Thunder. He was listed as doubtful headed into the evening, so this status update comes as no surprise. His absence should free up some work for Troy Daniels off the bench. The rookie will set his sights on a potential return Sunday against the Pacers.

Jackson is dealing with a right hip strain and is listed as doubtful for Friday's game against the Rockets, Scott Bordow of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear exactly when Jackson picked up the injury, as he played a full 30 minutes during Sunday's matchup with the Thunder. However, it's apparently giving him enough discomfort that he'll be given a doubtful designation heading into Friday's contest. Barring a surprise recovery, look for Jackson to sit out and target Sunday's matchup with the Pacers for a return, though in the meantime, Troy Daniels should see a hefty workload off the bench on wing. Jared Dudley could also pick up some added minutes.

Jackson posted 17 points (7-19 FG, 3-6 3Pt), 10 rebounds, five assists, and a blocked shot in 31 minutes during Sunday's 114-100 win over the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
Despite T.J. Warren's return to the starting lineup, Jackson still excelled in a reserve role. The rookie is currently averaging 9.2 points and 3.5 rebounds per game but his productivity will likely rise as the Suns shift their focus towards the young talent that is vital in their rebuilding effort. Jackson is worth a stash in deeper leagues and as a GPP option in daily formats.

Jackson will draw the start for T.J. Warren (illness) during Friday's contest against the Spurs, Scott Bordow of The Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson has started 13 games this season, though hasn't performed particularly well in those contests. In those starts, he's averaged 9.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists per contest while shooting 35.2 percent from the field.

Jackson will likely move back to the bench Tuesday against the Grizzlies, Scott Bordow of AZCentral.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Suns are expecting to get Devin Booker back from injury Tuesday, and if that's the case, he'll return to the starting five and push the rookie back to the bench. Jackson has started the last nine games in Booker's place and has averaged 25.1 minutes per game over that span. He continues to struggle as a shooter, however, converting just 27.3 percent of his threes and 36.4 percent of his field goals over the last nine contests. Assuming Booker returns, expect Jackson to see closer to 20 minutes on most nights, as was the case prior to Booker's injury.

Jackson scored 13 points (4-9 FG, 2-3 3PT, 3-6 FT) to go with five rebounds and one assist across 26 minutes during Thursday's 97-95 win against Memphis.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson followed up his 17 point performance from Wednesday with a solid 13 points against Memphis. Since being named to the starting lineup eight games ago, the forward has been an up and down scorer, scoring in the single-digits and double-digits equally over eight games. Averaging 9.7 points over this span, Jackson finally scored 10 or more points in back-to-back games on Wednesday and Thursday. However, with Devin Booker's possible return on December 29, Jackson's opportunities in the starting lineup are diminishing for the foreseeable future.

Jackson scored 17 points (8-18 FG, 1-2 3PT) to go with four rebounds and two blocks across 30 minutes during Wednesday's 108-95 loss to the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
On Wednesday, Jackson was second in scoring for Phoenix behind T.J. Warren's game-high 22 points. Since being added to the starting lineup seven games ago, the rookie forward's scoring has been a spotty 9.2 points per game. Coincidentally, this is in keeping with his season average to date. With the return of Devin Booker coming as soon as December 26, Jackson may not be long for the starting five.

Jackson mustered just two points (0-7 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and one rebound across 22 minutes in Wednesday's 115-109 loss to the Raptors.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie drew another start but continued to struggle. Jackson has gone just 3-for-21 from the field over the last two games, including 1-for-8 from three-point range. He's posted three straight single-digit scoring totals overall and hasn't been able to make up for the downturn with solid production in the rebounding and assist categories. Despite seeing at least 22 minutes in the four games since Devin Booker (groin) has been sidelined, Jackson's production continues to leave plenty to be desired for fantasy owners.

Jackson will start at shooting guard in Thursday's game against the Wizards, John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Devin Booker (groin) ruled out for 2-to-3 weeks, it will be the the rookie Jackson who will enter the starting lineup. While Jackson doesn't bring the offensive upside that Booker does, he is a better perimeter defender and has plenty of upside given his athleticism. Jackson will likely see a sizable uptick in minutes as a result of entering the starting lineup, but with so many question marks still surrounding the rookie's capabilities on offense, fantasy owners should still take a wait-and-see approach with him.

Jackson compiled 20 points (9-19 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), seven rebounds, three steals, and one assist in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 131-107 loss to the Pistons.
EDGE Analysis
After going scoreless (0-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt) in eight minutes during Tuesday's win over the Bulls, Jackson tallied a career high in scoring while matching career highs in rebounding, made field goals, and minutes. The blowout nature of the contest provided a chance for Jackson to see extended minutes off the bench, and he earned them. With that being said, he's still firmly behind T.J. Warren on the small forward depth chart, so unless that changes or the Suns start playing smaller lineups, Jackson will likely remain inconsistent in most areas.
