Jackson tallied 10 points (4-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt), four assists, two rebounds, and one steal in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 131-113 loss to the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson was far from impressive in this performance with the biggest piece of information being the potential injury to Devin Booker (hamstring). If Booker is forced to miss some time, Jackson could find himself in the starting lineup. A move such as this could be enough to kickstart his fantasy season, although on the flip side, could also highlight his inefficiencies on the offensive end even more. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on the situation and if Booker is forced out, Jackson could be worth a risk in some formats.

Jackson supplied 18 points (7-11 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three assists, two rebounds and one block across 28 minutes in the Suns' 121-100 win over the Mavericks on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson opened the season on the bench as expected with the return of Devin Booker (hand), but he didn't let the reserve role stop him from impressing on Opening Night. The second-year wing was red-hot with his shot and paced the second unit in scoring. Given his talent level and positional versatility, Jackson should find himself to more than enough minutes this season to generate solid fantasy production across the stat sheet.

Jackson will come off the bench for Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Mavericks, Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson worked with the starting five throughout the preseason, but is set to open the year in a bench role as the Suns are electing to go with a top unit of Isaiah Canaan, Devin Booker, Trevor Ariza, Ryan Anderson and Deandre Ayton. Still, Jackson is key building block for the future, so he should still have a fairly significant role in the rotation every night despite being a reserve. If Canaan struggles early on, there's a chance the Suns could push Booker over to point guard and elevate Jackson into the top unit.

Jackson supplied 13 points (5-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four assists, one rebound and one block across 28 minutes in the Suns' 116-83 preseason loss to the Trail Blazers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson bounced back from a rough stretch that had seen him drain just 12 of 45 attempts over three prior exhibitions. The second-year wing drew the start at shooting guard Wednesday and could open the regular season there if Devin Booker (hand) is still in the final stages of his recovery at that point.

Jackson compiled seven points (3-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt), five assists and two rebounds across 35 minutes in the Suns' 117-109 preseason win over the Warriors on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson drew another start at shooting guard, but he couldn't find his shot consistently for the third consecutive game. The 21-year-old is now 12-for-45 from the field during that stretch, a sample that includes a 2-for-15 tally from distance. With Devin Booker (hand) projected to be out for the remainder of preseason at minimum, Jackson should continue seeing ample playing time. However, he'll need to correct his offensive woes in short order come the regular season to continue claiming his fair share of minutes -- the Suns now sport a deeper small forward depth chart following the offseason arrival of Trevor Ariza, while first-round pick Mikal Bridges is an option to back up Booker at the two-guard spot.

Jackson poured in 17 points (7-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT) and added six assists, five rebounds and two steals across 33 minutes during the Suns' 106-102 preseason loss to the Kings on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year wing had previously stated that improving his outside shot was a priority for him this season, and he got off to a stellar start in that regard Monday. Jackson should benefit greatly from the extended playing time he received during his rookie campaign and will be counted on as a key component of the second unit to open the season. However, it remains to be seen how minutes will be sorted out at the three between him, offseason acquisition Trevor Ariza and T.J. Warren.

Jackson is hoping to improve as a three-point shooter this season.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year wing said he'd like to improve his three-point efficiency by five percentage points, which would be a tangible leap but still a number that leaves plenty to be desired. Jackson shot just 26.3 percent from beyond the arc as a rookie last season, dragging his overall field goal percentage down to just 41.7 percent. Outside shooting wasn't exactly a strength of Jackson's coming out of Kansas, but considering he's also a poor free throw shooter (63.4% FT), he'll need to improve from beyond the arc to become a more viable fantasy commodity in formats that value shooting efficiency.

Jackson will not play during the remainder of summer league, Scott Bordow of The Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though he's sporting a brace on his wrist, Jackson's absence for the remainder of summer league is reportedly no injury related. Despite seeing nearly 2,000 minutes in the NBA last season, the second-year player struggled in three summer league games, shooting just 24.4 percent from the field.

Jackson won't play during Thursday's summer league action against the 76ers due to rest, John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson has struggled through three summer league games, averaging 10.3 points on 24.4 percent shooting. It's unclear if he'll appear in another game, however, considering he saw nearly 2,000 minutes in the NBA last season.

Jackson posted 12 points (4-16 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 20 minutes during the Suns' 92-85 win over the Mavericks in a Las Vegas Summer League contest Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Although he checked in second only to Davon Reed on the starting five in scoring, Jackson had the worst shooting percentage (25.0) of any Suns first-unit player by far. The second-year swingman is coming off a stellar rookie season during which he enjoyed solid playing time and averaged 13.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steal across 25.4 minutes over 77 games. He'll look to sharpen up his shot during Summer League play after posting a 41.7 percent success rate from the field last season, including an unsightly 26.3 percent figure from distance.
