Jackson was assigned to Memphis' G League affiliate Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson, who's yet to appear in a game this season, was assigned to the Memphis Hustle and will now get the opportunity to play steady minutes in the G-League. He could earn a call-up later this season.

The Grizzlies informed Jackson on Monday that they would decline his $8.93 million fourth-year option for 2020-21, Peter Edmiston of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though the Grizzlies bought low on the No. 4 overall pick in the 2017 draft when they acquired him from Phoenix in July, it became clear the organization wasn't overly invested in Jackson after he wasn't invited to training camp and was instead assigned to the G League's Memphis Hustle to begin the 2019-20 campaign. Jackson will get the opportunity to play steady minutes with the Hustle and is eligible to be recalled to the NBA at any point this season, but it'll probably take a slew of injuries before he logs meaningful minutes with the Grizzlies. Jackson will become an unrestricted free agent next summer.

Jackson will not join the Grizzlies for training camp, and he'll instead begin the season in the G League with the Memphis Hustle, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is an interesting development, as the Grizzlies are an actively rebuilding franchise, and it seemed like Jackson would be a rotation piece. It's possible the organization wants him to get as much run and take on as much responsibility as possible in the G League, but it's still odd that he won't be joining the team for training camp. Jackson has no G League experience, and has actually played 30-plus minutes in 45 NBA games. All things considered, this is a significant hit to his early-season fantasy value.

Jackson (foot) -- along with DeAnthony Melton and two second-round picks -- was traded to the Grizzlies on Wednesday in exchange for Kyle Korver and Jevon Carter, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The former fourth overall pick in 2017, Jackson hasn't lived up to expectations. So the Suns have opted to send him to the Grizzlies, who seem to have an interest in developing Jackson. He's shown some upside as a defender, but the 22-year-old has struggled to score efficiently or demonstrate great passing vision. Jackson will likely occupy a backup role at shooting guard and small forward, and it's possible he still sees about 20 to 25 minutes per game.

Jackson has suffered a foot injury and is using crutches while wearing a boot, Katherine Fitzgerald of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The injury is reportedly not related to Jackson's arrest in May. He is considered day-to-day, and it seems unlikely the injury affects his status for training camp.

The Suns will attempt to trade Jackson during the offseason, Evan Sidery of Bright Side Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson was arrested in Miami at a music festival over the weekend, so it would seem that this has a lot to do with Phoenix trying to ship him elsewhere. The Knicks and the Kings would reportedly be interested in acquiring Jackson, per Sidery. He averaged 11.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists over 79 contests a season ago, though it remains unknown if the forward will be handed any kind of discipline following the incident.

Jackson was arrested at a music festival in Miami over the weekend and charged with resisting arrest, Andy Slater of 640 The Hurricane in Miami reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson allegedly attempted to enter a VIP area without clearance and was eventually apprehended by police, after which he attempted to flea the scene. At this point, it's unclear if Jackson will face any additional discipline from the league or the Suns.

Jackson contributed 35 points (15-29 FG, 5-8 3Pt), nine rebounds, five assists and two steals across 46 minutes in the Suns' 133-126 overtime win over the Pelicans on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson's point total led all scorers for the night as he turned in a masterful performance in the absence of Devin Booker (ankle). It's been an up-and-down season for the second-year pro, but Friday's spectacular effort served as his best of the campaign. Jackson is likely to remain in the starting five for the Suns' final two games, and with Booker already confirmed to be out for those contests, his usage could remain similarly high.

Jackson is starting Friday's game against New Orleans.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson will roll with the first unit Friday night after coming off the bench in three straight contests. He was held to just three points over 24 minutes in his last start Mar. 21 against Detroit.

Jackson registered 12 points (5-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 34 minutes in the Suns' 118-97 loss to the Jazz on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson's scoring total led the second unit in the double-digit loss. The second-year pro has scored in double digits in six of the last seven games and has logged at least 30 minutes in five of the last contests overall. His role should continue similarly robust for what remains of the regular season, and with Devin Booker now set to miss the last three contests, Jackson's usage should see an appreciable bump.
