Giddey finally managed to drill a three, marking his first made triple since Nov. 23 against Denver. Saturday marked his most made threes in a game this season, and he wasn't done there, as he secured his second straight double-double. Giddey is averaging 14.7 points, 8.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists on 44.1 shooting from the field over his last 10 appearances.

Giddey provided seven points (3-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 28 minutes during Monday's 105-101 loss to the Pelicans.

After 10 straight games of scoring in double digits, Giddey couldn't get going against the Pelicans. Uncharacteristically, Giddey also has just three total assists in the past two games. His box scores are all over the place, making him difficult to trust on a game-to-game basis, but he's still holding 12-team fantasy value. Giddey's primary barrier to better numbers is his poor shooting. He's making just 25.9 percent of his 3.0 three-point attempts per game and just 67.9 percent of his 1.6 free-throw attempts per game.

Giddey was steady on offense throughout the game, scoring at least four points in every quarter to finish with 18 on the night, which was second on the team to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (32). The guard made a season-high four of his seven free throws but only attempted (and missed) one three-pointer for the second game in a row. He's just 1-of-12 from beyond the arc over his last five games, though he still recorded 18 or more points in three of those contests.

Giddey needed just one more assist to notch his second triple-double of the season. The second-year guard's playmaking abilities continue to be a bright spot, but he's actually leading his team in rebounds as well. Giddey filled the box score Sunday by shooting efficiently, facilitating the offense and grabbing defensive boards. It was his first triple-double of the season and the fifth of his career.
