This was Giddey's fifth triple-double of the season and the 23rd of his career. The Bulls fell to 9-12 with this loss, but Giddey continues to be a bright spot for the franchise. Across 19 games, he's averaging 21.0 points, 10.1 rebounds, 9.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.8 three-pointers.

Giddey had a tough time going to work against Orlando's top-notch defense, as evidenced by him setting a new career high in turnovers with eight on the evening. It was simply an off night for a guy who is having a spectacular season, so we'd expect Giddey to bounce back Wednesday with a game against the Nets, who rank 25th in defensive efficiency.

Giddey ended just three assists shy from recording a triple-double, and by now, seeing him fill the stat sheet is a common trend. The versatile guard missed two games Nov. 10 and Nov. 12 due to an ankle injury, but he's been excellent since returning to the hardwood. He has five double-doubles and two triple-doubles over his last eight contests.

Giddey finished just one assist away from recording what would've been his third triple-double over his last seven games. The versatile guard is an excellent fantasy option due to his elite ability to fill the stat sheet, and it seems there are no weaknesses in his game right now. Giddey should continue to be one of the most productive guards in fantasy as long as he stays healthy and sees around 35 minutes per game.

Giddey closed with 21 points (6-12 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds and six assists over 35 minutes during Monday's 143-130 loss to the Pelicans.

EDGE Analysis

Giddey failing to record a triple-double is surprising at this point. The versatile floor general at least reached the 20-point mark for the first time since Nov. 17, and he continues to find ways to make an impact every time he steps on the hardwood. Since missing two games in mid-November due to an ankle injury, Giddey is averaging 19.0 points, 10.3 rebounds and 9.7 assists per game over his last six appearances.

Giddey has done a little bit of everything for the Bulls this year, and he has opened the 2025-26 regular season averaging 20.4 points, 10.1 rebounds, 9.7 assists and 1.1 steals over 34.0 minutes per game.

The 23-year-old guard rebounded from a substandard nine-point outing Wednesday against the Trail Blazers, when he went 3-for-9 from the field. Giddey delivered an efficient outing from the field in the second night of the Bulls' back-to-back set and tied the team highs in points and assists. The 23-year-old point guard also grabbed a team-best 14 rebounds en route to his second straight game with a double-double or better. Giddey continues to stuff the stat sheet, and over his last five outings, he has averaged 21.4 points, 11.6 rebounds, 10.2 assists and 1.2 steals in 35.4 minutes per contest.

Giddey ended Sunday's 150-147 double-overtime loss to the Jazz with 26 points (9-21 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 12 rebounds, 13 assists, two blocks and two steals over 42 minutes.

Giddey returned from a two-game absence and delivered one of his best outings of the season while posting his third triple-double. With three triple-doubles and four double-doubles across his previous eight appearances, Giddey has been one of the most productive guards in the league from a fantasy perspective. He's averaging a robust line of 22.4 points, 10.6 rebounds and 10.4 assists per game over that eight-game stretch.
