Nwora signed a one-year contract with Turkish club Anadolu Efes on Monday.

The contract includes an option for the 2025-26 season, so Nwora could pursue a return to the NBA -- or elect to stick around with Anadolu Efes -- following the upcoming campaign. Nwora will head overseas for the first time in his career after he spent four seasons in the NBA upon entering the league as a second-round pick of the Bucks in 2020. He split the 2023-24 season between the Pacers and Raptors, appearing in 52 games (one start) while averaging 7.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.8 three-pointers in 13.7 minutes per contest.

Nwora chipped in 14 points (6-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt), 11 rebounds and one assist over 20 minutes during Sunday's 118-103 loss to Miami.

EDGE Analysis

Nwora saw regular minutes for the Raptors off the bench since the beginning of March, and while his playing time was not enough to make him a viable fantasy alternative across all formats, he certainly tried to make the most of his minutes whenever his name was called upon duty. Nwora scored in double digits in 12 of his 22 appearances from March 1 onward, including five of his last eight.

Nwora (undisclosed) isn't listed on Toronto's injury report ahead of Wednesday's game against the Nets, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.

EDGE Analysis

Nwora suffered an unspecified injury during the final minutes of Tuesday's loss to the Pacers, but it appears it was a minor issue. Nwora could be in store for elevated usage Wednesday, as RJ Barrett (knee) and Kelly Olynyk (rest) are out, while Gary Trent (back), Bruce Brown (knee) and Gradey Dick (groin) are all questionable.

Nwora appeared to suffer an unspecified injury late in Tuesday's 140-123 loss to the Pacers and didn't check back into the game after departing with 1:55 remaining in the fourth quarter, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.

EDGE Analysis

Murphy noted that Nwora was limping to the locker room, so the fourth-year forward is presumably tending to some sort of lower-body injury. Tuesday's game was the front end of a back-to-back set for Toronto, so clarity on Nwora's status for Wednesday's matchup with the Nets may not arrive until shortly before the 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff. After being held out of the rotation in the Raptors' 130-122 loss to the Wizards on Sunday, Nwora played 19 minutes in Tuesday's contest and finished with 11 points (4-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal.

Nwora closed with 14 points (4-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 13 rebounds and five assists over 30 minutes during Wednesday's 133-85 loss to the Timberwolves.

EDGE Analysis

The Raptors' rash of absences allowed Nwora to log 30 minutes off the bench, and he played most of the second half in the blowout loss. Toronto's horrific 15-game losing streak has put the the playoffs well out of reach, so we may see more of Nwora down the stretch as the team explores the depth chart in preparation for next season.

Nwora recorded 19 points (8-18 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one block over 30 minutes in Sunday's 135-120 loss to Philadelphia.

EDGE Analysis

Nwora led all bench players in Sunday's contest in scoring while connecting on a pair of threes and posting bench-high-tying rebound and assist marks to provide a spark on the Raptors- second unit. Nwora has posted 19 or more points in three games this season and has benefited from a bevy of late-season injuries and absences in Toronto.

Nwora provided 18 points (7-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one block in 25 minutes during Sunday's 111-96 loss to the Magic.

EDGE Analysis

Nwora has found a way to make an impact for the Raptors with his scoring ability despite coming off the bench. He's scored in double digits in four of his last five appearances despite not logging more than 25 minutes in any of those contests. While he can be a serviceable streaming option in most formats, the inconsistency of his role, and his own inconsistencies as a scorer, limit his overall upside.

Nwora had 14 points (5-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, one block and two steals across 16 minutes during Friday's 113-103 loss to the Magic.

EDGE Analysis

Nwora continues to see more playing time off the bench in March with injuries to Scottie Barnes (hand) and Chris Boucher (knee). Nwora has scored in double digits in three of his last four games and is shooting 50.0 percent from the field and 41.2 percent from three on 4.3 3PA/G over that span. Nwora should see extended minutes in the immediate future with RJ Barrett away from the team due to personal reasons.

Nwora accumulated nine points (4-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist and one block in 20 minutes during Tuesday's 139-98 loss to the Pelicans.

EDGE Analysis

Nwora's 20 minutes of game time Tuesday was due to both the blowout loss and starter Ochai Agbaji leaving the game due to left knee soreness. Nwora's 15 shot attempts were his most since Jan. 28, and the 2022 first-round pick could be given an extended look off the bench if Agbaji were to miss additional time.

Nwora won't start Monday's game against the Pacers.

EDGE Analysis

With RJ Barrett (knee) resting, Nwora drew a spot start against the Hawks on Friday and was held scoreless across 14 minutes. Barrett is back in action, so Nwora will likely be pushed to the back of the rotation again.
