Loyd has agreed to a contract with Valencia Basket of the EuroLeague, Emiliano Carchia of Sportnado reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Raptors let Loyd out of his contract to allow him to sign overseas. He appeared in just 12 games for Toronto last season at the NBA level, but he was an MVP candidate in the G League. It seems likely he'll attempt to prove his value in the Euroleague, possibly hoping for an NBA comeback.

Loyd was released by the Raptors on Friday, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Loyd totaled just 55 minutes for the Raptors last season, racking up 29 points, nine rebounds and six assists. He spent most of the season in the G League, where he averaged 22.5 points, 6.0 assists, 5.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals in 35.5 minutes and was named to the All G League First Team. Reports indicate the parting of ways between Loyd and the Raptors was mutual, so it's possible he felt deserving of more playing time and the Raptors weren't filling to promise it.

Loyd erupted for 24 points (9-16 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 12 assists and 10 rebounds across 33 minutes Monday in the G League Raptors 905's 112-82 win over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
EDGE Analysis
The 905 was able to punch its ticket to the postseason on the back of Loyd's second career G League triple-double. The two-way player could see some time in the NBA over the next month, but he'll receive his most significant playing time in the G League, where he's been one of the circuit's top players this season. The 25-year-old is averaging 22.9 points (on 48.6 percent shooting from the field), 6.0 dimes, 5.4 rebounds, 2.2 triples and 1.9 steals in 35.2 minutes per game over 37 appearances with the 905 this season.

Loyd finished Thursday's 116-114 loss to the Charge with 25 points (9-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five assists and three rebounds.
EDGE Analysis
Loyd was the team's leading scorer and minutes getter, but ultimately wasn't able to net Raptors 905 a victory. The two-way player has been a frequent contributor in the G League this season, averaging 22.3 points, 5.8 assists and 5.5 rebounds in 32 games this season.

Loyd was recalled from the G League on Friday, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Loyd has seen 12 total minutes this month across three appearances, racking up four points. It seems unlikely he'll garner significant run Friday against the Spurs.

Loyd recorded 24 points (7-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 17 rebounds, 11 assists, two steals and a block over 40 minutes Saturday against Windy City.
EDGE Analysis
Loyd did it all in an impressive 102-98 victory for Raptors 905, shooting with efficiency while also doing work on the boards and serving as a facilitator. The 6-4 guard's consistent production is unsurprising at this point, averaging 23.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.1 steals through 25 contests in the G League this season.

Loyd was recalled on Friday but will be inactive for the game against Brooklyn, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Prior indications were that Loyd would be available, but that's apparently not the case. There's a strong chance he'll be sent down to the G League in the near future.

Loyd (ankle) erupted for 34 points (7-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 17-18 FT), 10 assists, seven rebounds and two steals across 40 minutes Friday in the G League's Raptors 905's 113-110 loss to the Westchester Knicks.
EDGE Analysis
The full stat line was an encouraging sign for Loyd's health after a left ankle sprain kept him out of commission for the past week. Loyd has been one of the top performers in the G League this season with averages of 24.3 points (on 49.7 percent shooting from the field), 5.7 assists, 5.4 boards, 2.3 treys and 1.9 steals in 36.0 minutes per game, but the two-way player is unlikely to see much action with Toronto in the near future.
